So I joined the Dark Side and bought an Air Fryer... one of the best decisions EVER! I love this, easy to use, easy to clean, cooks evenly and quickly, thoroughly recommend this one particularly. I've used a friend's much more expensive make and I find this one easier to use and much prefer it. Would buy again (and would do so now if I could work out how to take one to Spain with me)!

This is our fourth Halogen oven. I use it more than my smart big oven. The accessories this came with are super and useful. The bowl is fine but not as thick as our older one. I would definitely buy it again. You save money not putting the normal oven on. It cooks a roast perfectly and also warms our croissants. Haven’t found anything that I normally would cook in our oven that I can’t put in the halogen (except for a large turkey or leg 🦵 f lamb. Perfect for us. Compliments a normal oven but can be used easily as an oven in a small flat or bed sit.

This is a good Halogen oven. I've been using Halogen ovens for many years, always hinged lid ones. I now needed one with a removable lid because of lack of space. A hinged lid oven is infinitely more convenient, and easier to use, but if you can find one these days it will be more than twice the price of this. This one comes with various accessories including a basic but handy lid stand. Most others in this price range only have some of these accessories and no lid stand. Another nice little touch is a re-fillable glass oil spray bottle which is included. Had it about a week and so far so good. This seems like a well made item which works perfectly fine. I much prefer it to modern air fryers, which cost a lot more and I believe use more electricity. Recommended.

We have had all types before this one - basket, oven type and indoor grill / air fryer. The basket type we had previously was a single basket, and I wasn’t overly impressed with it as you could only really cook one thing at once. So if you’re wanting to make chicken nuggets & chips, for example, you had to either mix them all in together or add the chips after… not easy.For this reason, we moved onto an oven type - which was great. You can cook multiple items at once. However, they’re all at the same temperature and they still have to be moved around mid-cook. They’re also not easy to clean - because the food is loose inside the oven, it splatters. So a full clean is needed every time you use it. Like cleaning an oven.For this reason, we’ve gone back to the basket type but this time the dual basket. Not only can you cook multiple items, but they can be at different temperatures! And the smart cook function is really useful, so it all finishes at the same time. Love it!

I decided to jump on the band wagon and order an air fryer as everyone is raving about them. Since I was a novice I didn't want to spend a fortune and decided on this Schallen Dual Basket Air Fryer. I am so glad I did,the fryer looks great in my kitchen. The drawers are 4.5l capacity and come with crisper racks which also make it easier for cleaning and both have a non-stick coating. The racks are easily removed for cleaning. The drawers have a see through window to view food whilst cooking, you just have to switch the light button on to view. There are various preset programs which have been a great help to me but also the instruction booklet is very informative with regards to cooking certain foods and for temperature and timings. Different foods being cooked in different drawers, at different temperatures, at the same time can be set to finish at the same time by using the smart finish button. The digital display is very easy to use. Although the drawers and trays are dishwasher safe I found that it is easier to wash them after each use with washing up liquid and a sponge.I have now used the Air Fryer on numerous occasions and on some occasions I didn't get the timings right but simply added more time until produce was cooked to perfection. This is all part of me learning how to get the hang of Air Frying. I am impressed with the results of my cooking so far.I would definitely recommend this Air Fryer, it is easy to use and great value for money.

Removable bottom tray, roomy, cooks in 15 minute intervals, beeping once to remind you at the 7 minute mark, to give whatever your cooking a shake. It it a revelation!!!!!

So we had this Schallen for under a year - it worked well while it worked.about a month or two before the Warranty was up the Air Fryer went wrong.Netagon (the seller) Customer service sent out a replacement - which went wrong almost immediately upon use (I suspect it was a return.The sent out another replacement which went wrong again within a week (again - my suspcion is another returnAfter that they sent ANOTHER replacement - which was faulty out of the box. .. again my suspicion is they sent us a return.After that, they informed us our warranty period was up. and refused to help further.If you have an issue - I suspect you will get returned items until your warranty runs out - at least, that's how it seemed to us.Buyer beware.The Airfryer itself was great while it worked - but look out for uneven heat on both sides (one side was always hotter - despite being set to the same temperature)Look out for the touch screen becoming unresponsiveLook out for it switching itself off mid cookand most disturbingly - on the last one they sent us - look out for it getting so hot (way above set temperature) - that it melts the plastic on the inner rim and causes a small fire on the melted plastic.I even said to them - just do us a partial refund as a measure of goodwill - as you have now sent us in total 4 faulty items (including the first which did last NEARLY a year - they rest were pretty much faulty out of the box)they just ignored us.

For such a low price item, it does everything the more expensive ones do, it’s also ideal for motorhoming.Nothing to dislike

I have no dislike at all but I got it wrong it’s not for a normal power point can I order something that allows me to plugin to a normal point. Thank you
