Makes Hydroponics Gardeing Easier!
Works perfectly! I bought this for my hydroponics system since changing the water had become more difficult as my plants got taller. When changing the water, the plants would flop over from their own weight and get damaged and it would take a few days for them to recover. Now, all I have to do is siphon the water out of one of the pod holes and then fill up with clean water. The suction was great and emptied all the water quickly. The quality seems good and even though there were no instructions, all you have to do is look at the picture on Amazon. It's not hard to put together at all. The hardest part is putting on the gold rings which you can do easily enough with some pliers by squeezing the tabs at the top of the rings together (I hope that makes sense). This really does make taking care of my plants so much easier.

Simple but very Effective
Have drained a few in home water filtration tanks prior to servicing them and this unit is just the ticket.

Good pump, slow syphon
Pump works great, nice thick tubing, but doesn't hold strong syphon flow, it's a little weak & slow. Could be due to a kink in hose that I can't seem to get rid of (due to thickness) or inner diameter of hose, not sure? Flow is fine while pumping do works good for extraction, just not great for heavy syphoning.

Good suction and well made with thicker rubber for the pump ball
For the price this thing is perfect and works extremely well..it'd got a little one way valve in the suction ball that makes the suction strong and immediate and it drained my harley gas tank rapidly ...I got the shortest hose option which was fine for what ill use it for and I'll ne buying another for draining our vehicles transmissions of old fluid to switch out with new for yearly maintenance

Okay, better that other methods
Works well for most part. Hose quality good. Blue clip falls apart however. And a bit too short.

Easy Cheap Siphon
Bought to easily empty birdbath. Works great, but it can be a little slow. Haven't had any problems with leaking because it is well made.

Works. Some cautions.
Kinda wish I'd sprung for for an electric one like they sell for aquariums, because siphoning isn't all that fast. But this works, and you don't have to worry about dead batteries. If they turn off the gravity we'll have bigger problems to worry about. Measure the path you plan to use and consider buying more tubing at the same time. I should have. I had to improvise. Also, if you manage to pull it apart, it matters which way the the parts that connect the bellows to the hoses are oriented. Put it back together wrong and it won't work. Yeah, that's obvious, right? Wrong. It's only obvious after you think about it a moment when something calls it to your attention. Like you did it wrong. If it starts working less well than it did at first, or even quits working, you probably have debris caught in the upstream check valve. Take it apart, clean it, and put it back together.
