Gorgeous Little Box
What a pretty little handmade jewelry box! Besides the fancy look, I liked the fact that it's a little bigger than I imagined. Certainly large enough to store an oversized watch or bracelet. The inlay is nicely done, and even though the hinge appears to be made of the cloth seen in the interior, (it's not something that is built with materials meant to last forever) its value is in the handcrafted look. When my kids were growing up, one year for Christmas, they all got their own special individual handcrafted boxes from various parts of the world to store precious things, and I just learned that they all still have them. This is that kind of special container. I don't know yet if I will keep it for myself or perhaps save it for a special granddaughter to cherish, but I'm glad I have it.
