Only had it for 12 hours and ready to review.This was a spur of the moment purchase as always wanted to add a full sized barbell to my home gym for the days I did not workout at the gym or else where. There a quiet a few on Amazon and after looking at the top 20 options I went with this one due to the overall reviews, good specs, true to weight and size, and overall construction.Shipping was perfect. Came in a 7ft tube right to the door and easy to take out and use right away.Fair warning. Like any metal that is machined, there might be a few lingering metal flakes that could be sharp and cause splinters. Mine had plenty of machine oil/grease that is used to protect the bar. I highly recommend grabbing some high quality cleaning wipes and wiping the bar down until it drys “flat black” with no shine. Your hands will have a little freeze smell for the first few lifts but it will go away in time. You could wear gloves, however, soap and water removes it.I also recommendOther then that minor bit, the bar is to spec weight and size, smooth bearings, fit all my 2” plates, and love the black coated bark over my chrome/steel versions.

Very high quality. Knurling depth is perfect. Sleeves rotate freely. Highly recommend this bar.

This bar is great. Not only for the price point. I had issues with other bars delivering but this one showed up, when it said it'd be here and in good condition. The packaging was protective. I accidentally hit it with a dumbell and the "scuff" wiped right off but I could see how the coating could get damaged easy.

After one month of ownership, no scratches, solid bearings and build quality. Knurling is light but still provides grip. Great value compared to other bars that are double the price. Can’t comment on longevity but so far i’m happy with this purchase. No rattling, spins smoothly. I own their ez bar as well and both have the same level of quality.

First, the bar was well packaged... it was in a close fitting round cardboard tube with closed ends... then that was put into a "square" (looking at the end) box that was well taped. So it was well protected from the ape world.Now for the bar itself: Beautiful workmanship! I'm proud to have it in my gym. It weighs 44lb 3.75oz... not perfect for world record setting but perfect enough for my world. The receiving ends measure 1.97" (again perfect). They slipped into my new bumper plates like butter. And speaking of the ends... they spin like ice skates on ice. And thats important when you are going to clean and jerk 900#... you only want the bar to rotate... you DO NOT want to get all that weight rotating!! Roller bearings rule. The more... the merrier.I'm very impressed and I will order this bar again.As for the bar strength... I'll let you know if it bends when I c&j the 900lbs.

I needed to replace my old olympic bar I had purchased in 1980. The knerling was mostly worn down and the my hands were sliding a bit. I did quite a bit of research and decided to purchase this E.T. Energic bar. I have used it for bench and also squats and it is a well crafted bar and seems to be of high quality. It was well packaged for shipping and arrived undamaged and fairly quickly. The knerling is good, I wish a bit deeper, but I am pleased with the purchase and would recommend this bar.
