I ordered this chain because the one I usually wore (and loved) was a bit too long for me, and getting links removed would have required doing some considerable damage to the chain. Still, I was concerned that the links of this CaptainSteel chain would be too narrow for my tastes, and so I was prepared to be disappointed. What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be. Just a few weeks later, this CaptainSteel chain is the one I wear every day, everywhere. I recently took it with me to the Caribbean, and (against proper care instructions) I wore it into the ocean as well as the pool and hot tub daily. It has suffered sunblock and lotions and sweat and seawater and pool chemicals, and yet persists in shining. Definitely a quality product.One quick thing that I at first found disagreeable but have since grown to see the necessity: where the chain links together, there are two tiny metal brackets that are meant to be looped over two small metal protrusions, thereby preventing the clasp from being accidentally disengaged. They are a bit of a chore to operate blindly, but they do serve a good purpose, and I probably would have accidentally disconnected the chain already if they weren't there holding things in place.TL/DR: well made, beautiful, and durable -- a great find.

I like this chain. It is very well designed and stylish. The clasp is very strong and the chain even has two extra safety clips to prevent the clasp to come undone. However, I have to say that the chain is pretty heavy, but that's expected. The links are quite large but well constructed. If you want to use a pendant, it would therefore have to be a large one to balance the thickness and weight of the chain. I don't think this chain is for everyone. For me, it's a good fit!

This chain can fool anyone into thinking it is real gold. And it is in a way, it's just that not solid gold, but a real gold pleating. There are several styles and shapes for the Cuban link, and among all of them, this one is my favorite, as it is the one that looks the best, very smooth and elegant. I don't know how long will the pleating will last, but for now, after several days of wearing the chain, the finish is as clean and bright as the very first day!

So, with a lot of inexpensive jewelry chain the links don't lay flat or just feel clunky in the hand. Not this. The finish on them is nicely beveled, and it sits well on the neck. The clasp is easy to work when you can't see it well, and is appropriately sized for the type of chain it is (I mean in strength and ease of use, not simply the dimension). I'm liking this one. yes, it is simply polished stainless (the one I got anyway) but so what if it doesn't pass as silver?

I'm a bigger guy, 6'1" 235lbs, and this necklace fits well. It's obviously not made of any precious metals, but the weight and appearance is very convincing. Definitely a cool present for a younger kid or as a tester to see if you even want to spend the cash on the real deal.The latch works great & as long as you don't start getting too detailed on your inspections between the links, the appearance of this chain is very nice. It feels heavy overall, so you'll definitely 'feel it'.
