There are some pros to this wine chiller: it's convenient, portable, and comes with a cigarette lighter adapter so it would work for tailgating/picnics/etc. My concern is that it took over an hour for it to reach the target temperature of 41 degrees. If I'm chilling wine at home, I can do better with my fridge or freezer or even a bucket of ice. I brought this chiller on a trip to Florida and the performance has been the same every time, so I assume the ambient temperature and humidity have more of an impact on the performance than I thought they would. The listing mentions "depending on the season" so I take that to mean "depending on how hot or cold it is" wherever you're using the chiller, I just didn't think it would take over an hour to get to 41 degrees. But once it hits the target temperature, it stays there, and it's cleaner than a bucket of ice and easily portable, so it's still useful and will probably be a great choice for people who live in cooler climates.

It does chill, as low as 41 F. I was hoping it would be a bit colder, but it's a good temperature. Does require drying out condensation after use. Slim for easy countertop placement.
