i have very oily skin and i struggled for years to find a primer that could actually keep it at bay. ive tried pretty much all of them and none of them worked so i gave up, accepting the fact i would be wiping grease off my face for the rest of my life. figured i would try this one since it was summer and it ended up being the best primer i ever tried. my makeup stays on all day and NO MORE OILY SKIN, even after hours and hours. my skin looks dewy but not greasy. its amazing. if you struggle with the same problem i did your struggle ends here.just a heads up though that it is really thick and difficult to apply evenly with just your hands or even a brush but i have no issues applying it with a beauty blender.

I consider myself somewhat of a sunscreen connoisseur due to my sensitive skin and my single-minded goal of ridding myself of acne scarring and melasma. I started with the chemical spf lineup (supergoop, BOJ, eltaMD) then realized no matter what formula I used, I always got stingy, irritated eyes from it. Then I stuck to mineral sunscreen exclusively but didn't want a tinted SPF to stain all my clothes so I tried untinted versions from Avene, La Roche Posay, CeraVe - ALL of them (trust me) and always ended up with a white cast to my face. So much so that I looked constantly ill from being such a pale shade of bluish-white. Then I found La Roche Posay's mineral tinted formula and stuck with it until I could not stand having a little tan-colored stain on every single shirt collar and jacket collar. Back to testing the untinted ones - but then I tried THIS ONE. It's the perfect middle ground between untinted mineral sunscreen that leaves me looking ghostly and the tinted spf that leaves my clothes stained.This formula is perfect. Unscented, (which is a requirement for me), thick, moisturizing but not oily, dries to a velvety, hydrated finish that is neither matte nor glowy but perfectly skin-like. I will never be without this sunscreen now that I've found it! I use it every morning and reapply after my outdoor exercise/showers. Truly lovely, and so glad I was able to finally get my hands on this brand that doesn't sell to the USA directly (or didn't when I looked last).

3.5 stars? Jury is still out for the final verdict. It doesn't have a white cast. It has a small amount of tint which is fine for me since I'm light skinned, not sure if it would work for others though. It is a thick cream but spreads reasonably well. After a minute or two, it does dry and mostly avoids being tacky. I like that it is spreadable without a white sheen and dries fairly well, but it is expensive for something I'm not 100% thrilled with.

My FAVORITE spf formula of all time. This is my second purchase and I hope they never change this formula! If they don't change it, they have a customer for life. I've just turned 66 yrs old, very fair complexion, blonde and blue eyed. I've found this to be a great substitute for foundation this summer for more casual days and activity, and a fantastic no-pill primer for my foundation on days when I choose to wear it. I use cosrx multi-peptide serum, vitamin c serum, olay regenerist serum, and this product on top with no pilling. Using that combo, my skin looks radiant and relatively flawless for my age. On makeup days, I have used Estee Lauder Hydra Rescue Futurist foundation on top with no issues, and other times I've used Laura Geller powder foundation on top with equally great results. I will never be without this as long as they make it - highly recommend!

This sunblock has great coverage and has a perfect tint (if not pale.) It is super moisturizing and makes skin look nice and dewy. I wear it during spring/summer when I have a slight tan. However, it is very thick and it drags my skin as I apply. I will use this bottle up and look for a new sunblock with thinner consistency.

It goes on so nicely, not too thick, but just thick enough so I know it’s effective as mineral screen. It fades into my light complexion very well, becomes undetectable. The sunscreen is very effective. I haven’t had any issues with sun exposure while using it. Makeup goes on really nicely over it, so it’s a great primer.A lot of people say it works as a sort of tinted moisturizer, giving them some degree of light coverage. I don’t know that I’d go that far. It may even out my skin tone a TINY bit, and it does blur pores, but I def still feel like I need to wear even a light foundation over it to get my 40 year old skin to look less… forty. Also I do think my skin looks and feels hydrated even at the end of the day with this stuff.For my purposes, this has been better than every other sunscreen primer, and HANDSDOWN any other mineral sunscreen primer. There’s no pilling at all. It feels weightless, not like I’m wearing sunscreen. I love it. I wear it with and without makeup and trust it to keep my rosacea, dry skin, and wrinkles from worsening in the sun.

I am a dark skin black woman and this left my face looking white and ashy. I could not even wear it at the house.This probably works well for white women. I must admit, though they have a spray on top-up sunscreen that I love! it goes on clear and leaves a nice supple looking glow. But as for the cream I would never purchase again unless they come out with more inclusive tense that work for all skin tones

It's pretty! It's thick and takes a while to rub into skin. It's goes well with my specific foundations and I like the very subtle smell
