How did we not use them years ago .The way we use them for pointing brickwork is to mix a 4 plastering sand, 1 cement, 1 lime, plasticiser, the mix has to be very wet so the mortar runs out the bag /like a grout/ we don't use the metal tip.To use full half way or less , and pipe in ,over full joints and point.

Not fit for purpose... if you're a contractor, avoid.. I had 14m x 2m wall to repoint... I knocked up the mortar with a mass of plasticisor so it was fluid/runny...nozzle blocks frequently and its incredibly messy.. if you hold the bag perdicular to the wall it just drips out the back end of the bag.. Complete rubbish...

I bought this thinking I might save some time pointing brickwork. The bag is very robust with quite a large capacity but after some experimentation I reached the conclusion that It only works on condition that more than the recommended amount of plastisicer is added to the mortar and excessive water to produce a mix with the consistency of toothpaste, both of which will weaken the finished mortar. Reverting to the old trowel and tuck pointing tool it is easy to see why these aren’t used by professionals

Great product, better than any pointing gun. My advice would be to watch YouTube on how to perfect your technique using the grout bag for pointing brickwork. General information can be found on the consitancy of your mix and application. Definitely worth sticking with. Will save you time and money 👍

When I first bought this the material was thick and lasted longer but the last two times I had these they were thinner material. Didn’t last a week for my job

Der Mörtelbeutel hat uns einiges an Zeit gespart, die wir mehr gebraucht hätten, um den Mörtel mit der Fugenkelle anzubringen.Wir haben den reingespritzen Mörtel dann mit einem Stück Gartenschlauch angedrückt & das Überschüssige damit abgezogen und dann mit den nassen Fingern noch geformt. Oder man nimmt noch eine (Tapeten)Bürste und waschelt nass über die Fugen - fertig ✅Wichtig ist nur, dass der Mörtel sehr cremig angerührt ist & man muss den Mörtel in der Spritze zügig verarbeiten, damit er an der Spitze nicht schon anzieht und fest wird - dann bekommt man nämlich nichts mehr raus.Das Metallteil haben wir überhaupt nicht benutzt.Er lässt sich auch wieder super reinigen.Klare Kaufempfehlung & Preis-Leistung passt auch!
