Quality product that takes a little doing to put together but is over all easy to assemble - unless you have weak hands! The first few I tried to install shot off like a little rocket because I wasn't holding them tight enough while squeezing together but they were easy to find and re-try until I got it right. My thumb was a little sore at the end of assembling 20' for these from the final push into place but the soreness only lasted a couple hours, no big deal. These will definitely keep the birds off and frankly any critter you're keep off of a surface these are installed on. They are big, pokey, and strong.

HELP!!!!!!Seriously this was my last resort on getting those birds to go away and you can see how it worked for me 😭😭😭😭😭Well ,I just put them up , will see if they will build their nest tomorrow. I been trying to make them go away for 18 years now!! Please help.

We’ve been dealing with birds trying to make a nest over our front door for years. Kids toys worked for a little bit but they got smarter. We finally tried this as we didn’t want to hurt the birds and could actually see them try to land, get scared, and fly away. Works great!

WEAR EYE PROTECTION, as noted elsewhere. This is not a joke, you could end up with serious eye damage if not careful. These are effective, easy to install, etc.; however, sometimes if you are not holding them tightly enough, they will spring out of the holes into your face or chest or wherever.... One of them bounced off my glasses. Truth is they are a pain to put together, but got to where I could assemble one in 2.5 minutes, so not a great effort or waste of time. Still, being in a hurry, a couple of them were not properly seated before I released them, and Poing! off they went. Note too: To forestall rusting (they claim to be stainless, but the spikes don't look it), I spray painted them after assembly to match the house color. BL: They are almost invisible in the roof rafters and the mourning doves have moved on.... Last, they cut easy enough but you'll need heavy scissors or tinsnips (and that's only for the strip, the wires need wire cutters).

These bird spikes are the real thing first of all I thought company did not put the amount of product in the box I emailed them they responded in 12 hours willing to make it right excellent customer service. Instead of buying pre assembled spikes at the big box store, why not save 27 cents per hour inserting every… single… one of these spikes into their bases? No brainer!Oh and they work decent too.

Using them mostly to deter the squirrel from leaping from the deck rail to the bird feeder. So far, so good!
