The Real Deal 5/5
bought is companies stuff as it is designed for high end consumers. not us regular , rather the breaking bad type of high end consumers. hope you understand the analogy.so what is great. its quiet and high qualityit will continue working without supervision especially if you are locked in or doing time. it will continue to work flawlessly behind your back and you don't have to worry about it.its silent and yes there is going to be some wind noise however there isn't going to be any whining noise.I use it to cool tp link deco be85 mesh wifi. the be 85 has inbuilt fans.however those fans were no good . I has to install this unit beneath each of those satellites . now never have had any reason to restart the mesh network.the medium speed is good in summer and I guess I can switch to low speed in winter to keep everything going.I the went ahead and bought the 2 fan version from same company to place under my virgin media hub 5 or 6 and the other end behind my tv ports unit. have had them for a months and I can say this unit is good quality. the power is supplied by usb a type plug which is connected to some usb a outlet on the powerstrips I have near appliances.the airflow is restricted unless you place something under the fan to raise it above around 1 inch above its plastic pucks to achieve silence and better airflow. it can not work with the plastic pucks alone. they will not let enough air flow beneath the fan to throw upwards. it needs clearance on at least the input side of 1 to 2 inches to achieve good blowing power. the 140mm size is good for be85 as it blows inside and around the body of the unit and man oh man is the tp link deco be85 big. so you can get an idea. it is as large as a 70kg persons thigh . so you get an idea that 140mm is a bit larger then a persons thigh . power consumption is ok however I didn't test it. seems the 2 fan 120 mm works as good as the 140mm single fan version. I would have preferred the 140mm version as it was single unit in comparison to the dual 120mm versions which I now have to place 1 below and 1 on top of the other be85 deco unit.definitely buy other stuff from this company . if you need an exhaust fan this is the company. if you need electronic cooling fan this is that company. they have a huge variety of stuff that carters to that class of people who we all hate however they are the ones making all the money after other bad businesses in the world. the 4 or 6 greatest money makers businesses right now running the world . and yes it definitely isn't owing a pizza chain or a restaurant or clothing store.

Used as an external hard drive cooler.
Keeps my external WD Elements HDDs within thermal limits of 26c to 35c, whereas without any cooling solutions, the hard drives would heat up considerably above 50c when in use. I place the fan on top of the drives and it works perfectly by pushing the heat upwards and dissipating the heat with three fan speed levels. Highly recommended!

Not the cheapest but reliable and very effective
I've now bought a couple of these fans. They have variable speed and are being used to cool some network devices by sucking air over them. Even at the slowest setting they are very effective and are silent. I particularly like the rubber feet supplied which allows the fan to sit noiselessly on a server or to clip on to the edge of a vertical device. Runs on USB output from one of the devices - they can be 'passed through if the port is needed to connect a signal cable. Not sure if you could run the fan AND power a device through the USB port so perhaps only connect self powered USB devices through this cable.

Great for Aquarium cooling 👍👍
These are great fans, purchased two for the top of my Axolotl tank as aquarium fans can be unreliable, noisy, poor quality, pricey for really good ones. These make no noise at all and have several speed settings, they really do the job well, I may hook them up to a controller in future.

Good But Some Issues
I have an amplifier in an open cabinet that gets quite hot and in the height of summer overheated and shut down. I bought this in the hope that it would stop this happening and the results have been really good. Before the addition of the fan the amp would run at around 65C and after the addition of one of these fans at the side blowing over the casing on its lowest setting it dropped the working temperature by 30C to 35C so good results overall. These fans do have a couple of negatives however. Firstly if you are a critical music listener anything higher than it's lowest setting is likely to be audible and secondly, the biggest issue for me is that AC Infinity make a big song and dance about being able to daisy chain multiple fans together but when you do this you lose all control over the fan speed. I daisy chained just 2 together and wanted them both on the lowest setting due to the noise issue but this does not work. The first fan did not spin at all and the second one was super slow. It turns out that you have to put the 1st fan in the chain on maximum for the 2nd fan to work so all control is lost! I had this confirmed by AC Infinity support and I am now having to run the second fan off a separate supply which totally defeats the object of being able to connect them together, hence the loss of a star from my rating.

AC Infinity MULTIFAN S4
This is by far the most silent fan that I have up to now, on setting 1 you will not know it is on,max setting can have some sound but its not bad, there are other fans out there but the sound level on them is not good, the rubber feet helps keep it in place with no vibration, you can remove all rubber feet and wire fan guard, you can also daisy chain to other fans of the same if needed with the added USB input.

Quite, efficient and highly effective!
Fantastic product. Quality built and high class packaging. Easy and clear way to use. Solved my burning Amp inside a closed cabinet. I really can leave it ON on Hi mode and close the door knowing my amp will be on low temp for the whole day. Mind you that I couldn't use the USB input of my integrated amp, Arcam SA20 properly. It will run the fan off course but it will prevent the amp to go to sleep mode when there is nothing to play. Minor issue but it would be nice if it did work that way. Not the Fan’s fault, though. On Hi mode when the door is closed I can’t hear the fan at all even without any music playing. If the door is open may Lo mode for low volume works better although still on high volume you barely notice the fan.
