This is not going to be used as a poker guard I don't believe. I think it will be used more as a small paperweight or 'thing to dust' around the house. It's a nice heavy little shark with an open mouth. The brass is just that a brass color. The details are great. The mouth is open and you can see the teeth of this very serious looking shark. You can see the gills on the side as well. It looks like it's swimming around ready to attack if it's needed to do so. This is about 3 inches long and very heavy. it came with a soft bag that makes it obvious this is for poker. However, I just put the shark in my own bag as the person that will be using this will not need a poker bag and doesn't play poker.

I love sharks so this poker weight will end up sitting on a shelf instead of on the game table. The quality is very nice and the detail is good for such a small item. I was disappointed that it arrived in a small envelope and the fins had poked through the package. The main dorsal fin appeared to have been bent in shipment and one of the pectoral fins was also curled however the image on the listing suggests that might be how it was intended. Overall I'm happy with the item.
