Castmaster stoves® - XL chiminea Cover (122cm x 56cm)

Purchased this in 2015. Good fit. Has lasted outside for 2 years and now needs replacing.

Good cover but needs string to secure tightly so it does not catch the wind.

Bought to replace a different cover which did not completely cover my Chiminea (120cm). This one fits with room to spare, the bottom is elasticated so it hugs the legs and can even tuck in underneath them a little, it also means it could stretch out slightly for wider chimineas I guess. Time will tell how durable it is, but first impressions are great.

Cover looks good and covers large cast iron chiminea, but could do with taped seams as after heavy rain drips found inside so not fully waterproof! so only 3 stars.

Just the job for keeping mu Chiminea dry and hopefully rust free. The cover is a perfect fit and although not shown on the illustration, the elasticated skirt on the bottom, tucks under the feet of the Chiminea, making it more secure and less likely to allow the ingress of damp or water. Good quality materials too!

Only got Chimnea cover in Oct & torn badly at seams in 3 places already. All it's ever done is cover the Chimnea, which is now rusty as a result. I've contacted Castmaster to obtain a replacement cover so will update this review with the outcome in due course. But based solely on the quality of the item...it's 1 star from me. ***Further update*** According to Castmaster the damage has been caused by "storm damage" ??? The cover is advertised as hard wearing & is intended to protect against the elements, not fail at the first sign of a slight breeze. It is neither weatherproof or protective & Castmaster are not willing to offer a replacement refund. Meanwhile I have an expensive Chimnea that's not protected & is starting to rust. So it's one star to Castmaster too.
