Q: How long is the cable wire that comes with this?

I haven't measured it. I hang it from a cover/baffle and it's several inches below that with a torpedo baffle below it so the squirrels can't get at it. This system works very well from an 8 foot pole.

Q: Have you seen any problem with birds getting their wings caught?

None at all and it's been active including some larger doves.

Q: Will ground feeder birds use it?

Probably not, but we've had an overflowing feeder lots of times.

Q: What are the dimensions of the tray?

I think 9 X 11 with a 2 inch depth. Several birds can feed at the same time.
