Very comfortable to wear

New glasses always come with the headache of getting the right fit, if you're like me and can't handle much pressure on your nose. Now with the option of buying glasses online, making glasses wearable is now in my hands and not a professional. These nose pads appealed to me as I've never tried gel ones and was hoping they’d offer comfort. They were extremely tricky, immensely fiddly and required a light touch less you puncture the gel. In the end they were secure but I couldn't get the screws in fully, too big. I liked the gel part, but hadn't banked on the rough edges, the 'join' on each one had a teeny tiny sticky out part that scratched and irritated my skin terribly. I tried filing it down, but couldn't apply enough pressure without busting the gel cushion. I'd recommend trying the GMS air chamber silicone pads great for sensitive skins and so smooth.

I was disappointed that one of the nose pads arrived containing no gel. Despite the product being defective I cannot fault the excellent customer service I received when I contacted World Sports Vision who immediately refunded me in full.

Very comfy, only down-side is that it goes yellow after a couple of weeks...

Perfect

When first received, one of the pads had burst leaving silicon all over the packaging. This was rectified by the seller as they sent a replacement - although I received no communication to inform me of this. The gel should in theory be more comfortable, however the shape means that they cut into the skin if not positioned 100% perfect. I wouldn't recommend these personally as they haven't delivered upon my expectations of quality and comfort.

Disappointed. I read reviews which were mixed and hoped that the nose pads would be OK. Unfortunately one pad was half inflated. As I had lost my glasses nose pads I could not return as I needed them. The half filled one has totally deflated after 1.5 days. The other one is going down. Just hope they last until I can get to opticians. Very disappointed.

Tenía mis gafas sin almohadillas desde hacía bastante y estaba resistiéndome para no tener que ir a la óptica de turno para que me cobrasen 15 € por un par de almohadillas y su "instalación". Compré estas para ver qué tal y el resultado es magnífico.La medida de 14,5 mm es el largo total de las almohadillas y el ancho puede ser como unos 7 mm. El material, efectivamente, es un gel en el interior de la almohadilla que hace que el peso de la gafa se reparta por igual en toda la zona de la nariz donde reposa la almohadilla. Parece que no llevase gafas, y eso que las mías son las de montura de metal algo más pesadas (a lo largo del día suelen notarse).Como contra, es que son algo caras cuando hay cajas con 50 y 100 pares de almohadillas por poco más o igual precio, pero son normales. Salvo que seas un óptico profesional, no gastarás 50 pares de estas en la vida... Antes se rompen las gafas.En resumen: sí, son 9 eurazos por 1 solo juego de almohadillas, pero merece la pena.PD: las pedí de rosca porque mi montura lleva el tornillito de fijación. Efectivamente con un destornillador de precisión o un cuchillo de punta afilada podréis desenroscar, colocar la almohadilla y volver a atornillar. Sencillo y no tardáis más de 5 minutos en todo el proceso. Y encima te ahorras viaje a la óptica de turno.

Ich verstehe die schlechten Rezessionen überhaupt nicht, da ich mit den Pads absolut zufrieden bin. Die Passform ist optimal und vor allem, was am wichtigsten ist, sie sind wirklich sehr angenehm was den Tragekomfort angeht. Ich hatte mit den Original-Pads große Probleme und entsprechend starke Druckstellen. Auch "normale", angeblich weiche Silikonpads haben nicht geholfen. Diese Gelpads bringen nun die erhoffte Besserung und keine Druckstellen mehr. Was evtl. als einziger Kritikpunkt anzumerken wäre ist, das das übliche vergilben der Nasenpads hier (vermutlich Bauart bedingt) ein klein wenig ausgeprägter ist bzw. früher eintritt. Aber ich löse dieses kleinere Problem eben damit, dass ich die Teile nun alle 6-8 Wochen austausche. Bei einem Preis im 5€-Bereich ist dies jetzt keine Riesen-Investion, denke ich.Daher wäre es wünschenswert, der Anbieter könnte sich zu einem Abo-Abgebot entschließen.
