My 11 year old grand put this together over a period of several days. It turned out great. The blocks truly are miniature so not recommended for little kids.

Purchased as birthday gift & was enjoyed

I purchased this set for my 14 year old who is a wiz at building blocks. He was a little disappointed looking at it at first because it looks like such a simple set and too easy for him. He then looked at the block count and couldn't believe there were almost 1800 pieces in the set. The individual block sections were packaged separately but sometimes he couldn't find the right piece and had to open bags to find the particular piece he was looking for. The instructions were not clear at times and he had to build the section off of what he thought was right. There are some teeny tiny pieces in there, hence it doesn't look like an 1800 piece set. He struggled on and off and had to take many breaks. I helped him a number of times and didn't know how he could understand the instruction manual but he did. His mind thinks differently than mine. Like I said, he's 14 and a wiz at building blocks, but this was a challenge for him. It is a bit un sturdy so is best to keep on the holder. The "cork" pops out if bumped at all. If you are going to keep this, best to put on a shelf where it won't get bumped. There were a handful of extra pieces left also. Not sure if they were supposed to go in the design or if they just included extra pieces. My son did complete the set and was on cloud 9 when he did. Such a sense of accomplishment and he said after this one he knows he can tackle any building set here on out. LOL! This was a bit of a pricy set, a struggle reading the manual and finding the right pieces in the bags they were supposed to be in. In the end I do think it is a pretty cool design.

Very cool giftable item! I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly this was delivered (less than two business days) and it is exactly as described/pictured. Awesome keepsake when completed!

To start, these are much smaller in size than your usual (name brand) block pieces. They are still well made and durable, and I like the challenge of putting this together! The colors are nice and look good. Assembly is a long process, and literally the whole point of this, but it's quite fun! I will be proud to display this on my shelf!

Firstly, tiny TINY blocks so be prepared. But they finished product is awesome and looks so good in its "bottle". Love the show (both of them) and this fits well with my other sets from it.

My daughter & I love assembling various micro building blocks sets. We also love ships in a bottle so this was supposed to be an exciting build for us both. We found that a few pieces were missing before getting started. This is only the third set we left unfinished out of at least 50 other ones
