Yes you can cut it down. In addition I fitted it to a bay window which involved forming 2 bends, this was a bit tricky.

Q: Does this track come in one piece or two pieces of track that needs to be joined?

Two pieces....the joining piece is on the reverse so not visible. Where they meet is visible ( a line / gap) but I don't notice it anymore now the curtains are up.

As per the instructions supplied, the track only bends in one direction to suit the curvature of a bay window. Hope this helps.
