Beautiful hardcover. I have never been into smut, because moste the time I find them a bit cringe, but UTOT is actually a really good story in itself. It has great world and character building and may I even say fleshed out lore. The world is believable and you feel like the spicy parts are just a bonus rather than the main focus. I've also read the Riftan POV book that is available online, which I love even more than the original book, because it adds so much context and also a bit of grittiness. I could imagine men enjoying reading that one too, which leads to my next point. In a lot of smutty books male characters are written through the female gaze, whereas in this book Riftan and a lot of the male characters, including the other knights come across authentic which adds to the humour and clumsiness between male and female interaction. I wish more people would discover this book, because IMO it's very underrated.

This is such a lovely quality book, the artwork on the cover is beautiful and the quality overall is great. I was a bit sad to see that this is not the edition with printed edges - so just be aware of that if you order as of now! I know some of the reviews show images with the printed edge, but I'm assuming they were bought during the first print run and now anything that is bought will have a plain edge?

So far I'm only halfway through the story but I'm already in love with the world building and the characters, and the book itself is absolutely STUNNING. I will say (SPOILERS AHEAD) i wasn't quite prepared for the amount of...spice in this book, a little more than I'm comfortable with, but the book does come with a warning so i sort of walked into it 😅otherwise, so far so good, can't wait to finish it!

I love this book. It was more fancy and gorgeous than what I thought it would be. (Though to be fair I pre-ordered it before the final design was even released so it was a pleasant surprise). The book is excellent quality with sprayed edges. I actually read it on the kindle and liked it so much I wanted a physical copy of it. It’s a greatly balanced book plot-wise with a perfect pace and the writer has amazing style. It really is a treasure - you will not be disappointed. A++++++

Already read online before so was excited for book to arrive. Absolutely beautiful cover and has quote/art on the pages. It's a lovely story and highly recommend the manga if you're into that too.

I know now why this light novel is so popular (on RIDI, it’s quite often on the first place, if not, top 3). I really enjoyed the overall story and if I may, a bit original (compared to other korean light novels I have read so far) : the FL isn’t a stunning beauty (but still a beauty in her way, I assume) with a (surprising) flaw, and her past is indeed pitiful and all, but she tried her best to change. She has quite some talent but she isn’t that talented. So I enjoyed watching her gradually becoming a stronger character. The ML seems quite rude and a tsundere (which I really like), but so in love with her. I can’t wait to know how he fell in love with her (even if in this 1st volume, there’re some hints). I would say that the main and secondary characters are overall unique and lovable in their own way. I can’t wait to read the next volume. I highly recommend this book !

O. M. G!! it's SOO pretty, I swear to God!! The cover is just *chefs kiss*. The text has this effect so when it's in light or dark, it like reflects the light. The book came in AMAZING conditions!! I am genuinely so happy! Eee!! As a person why read the Manhwa long ago, it's a amazing way to recap while also reading a book!!
