I purchased a used bike with ultegra hydraulic disc brakes, and when replacing the pads I noticed one of the retention clips was missing. I didn't feel it was cost or time effective to buy just the clip (had to order direct from China to get just the clip, and then I would have to order a pack of 10), and I was already annoyed that this bolt seems to be the only one on the bike that requires a flat head screwdriver, so I opted to purchase this set to solve two issues.New bolts work great, I can use the same hex set to remove them, and I have added assurance to prevent the bolt from working itself out. Granted these have a very specific use case and should never need replacing due to wear, but still feel like these could be a tad cheaper for what they are.
