K&F CONCEPT 58mm ND100000 ND Lens Filter Nano X Series

I got both the ND100000 (16.6 stop) and ND1000000 (20 stop) for the Apr 8 2024 eclipse. They both worked well. I used the 20 stop during full sun at ISO100 f8 exposed between 1/4 to 1 second. The 16.6 stop max'd out at 1/1000 sec during full sun, but worked great shooting thru thin clouds with about a 1 second exposure. These are a good inexpensive choice for solar photography. Sun spot will show but you need an hydrogen alpha (Ha) filter for solar flares. CAUTION As the amount of UV blocking is not known, don't use the optical viewfinder, instead use the electronic live-view screen to protect your eyes!

Got this for the eclipse and it did the job! Great photos of the sun and happy with the purchase. No apparent downside in resolution, but it’s hard to tell given the subject (the sun)

16.6 stops!!! sheeeeeeesh. so much blocked light it's crazy. I used this for shooting the solar eclipse, and it was obviously necessary. It fits well on a 200-600 sony lens, and looks great. colors were not affected. high quality, and all of the good stuff.

Purchased for the April 8, 2024 eclipse and it was perfect. This is one of those items that kind of hard to write a review for since they really have one specific use, to shoot photos of the sun. I didn't want to use the solar film due to worries over image quality, so I grabbed this for one of the lenses I was using. The photos came out better than I expected. Great for shooting images of the sun and visualizing the sun spots, or eclipse hunting. Plan to get more use out of this for upcoming eclipses and to take some random shots of the sun. It's too dark for just about anything else. Nice filter, good quality, would recommend for those of you who might be looking to do some similar photography of sun and eclipses. Very happy with the purchase.

Used for an eclipse and absolutely love it!

I used it in telephoto moon imaging and cutting glare in day time photo's. A must have. Created nice clear, detailed images.

Use this for the 2024 solar eclipse. Obtained clear shots before, during, and after the eclipse. Mounted on Canon lens and Canon DSLR body. Large knobs on the filter make for easy on and off. A bit tight and needs to be threaded exactly right, but that's how it should be. Can't see using it for anything except eclipses or sun shots, but for the price it is worth it to own one for those purposes. Filter case securely closes and also has a rubber holder that keeps the filter secure and prevents it from bouncing around in the case. Overall worked great, would buy again.

Ich habe diesen Filter mit 16 Blendenstufen für mein Canon RF 200–800 mm Objektiv gekauft, um eine Sonnenfinsternis sicher und vernünftig fotografieren zu können. Die Qualität des Filters ist absolut überzeugend. Das Bild ist über die gesamte Fläche hinweg scharf, von der Bildmitte bis in die Ecken – hier gibt es wirklich nichts zu beanstanden. Die Abdunkelung um 16 Blendenstufen ist vollkommen ausreichend, um die Sonne mit einem entsprechenden Teleobjektiv gefahrlos zu fotografieren, ohne den Kamerasensor zu gefährden. Andere Methoden sollte man hierfür auf keinen Fall verwenden. Insgesamt funktioniert der Filter einwandfrei und erfüllt genau den Zweck, für den er gedacht ist. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und kann ihn uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Va genial, solo una prueba una toma sin apilar a mano alzada y resultado bastante correcto después de procesar. Muy cómodo para llevar siempre en la bolsa, mucho más cómodo que un filtro tipico. Pd: El color esta puesto en el postpocesado.
