Sturdy and a nice size for smaller jobs.

Although I have a large, heavy cutting board in the kitchen, I needed a small, easily portable one I could bring into the living room, dining room, family room or porch...all the places where we eat. It's a lovely accompaniment to a charcuterie board for cutting fruit or cheese. This is what we use this pretty wooden board for either with veggies or fruit/cheese we're snacking on while watching TV, or a light lunch on the porch, or veggie/cheese starters before dinner. It's sturdy and my preference in cutting boards is for wood rather than a heavy plastic type material many cutting "boards" are made of. Somehow I can't stop thinking that tiny pieces of plastic are also being included with the food I'm cutting on one of those. But, this is my particular choice, as I can also disinfect wooden boards and use separate ones for chicken than I do for fruits/cheese/breads. This inexpensive little board was a great find, especially as the grain in the wood is very attractive. I can't understand the negative reviews about it coming apart as I've been using this for a number of months now with no signs of any "wear and tear". If you need a small cutting board (this would also be ideal for an RV or camper) for any reason, this really is an excellent buy.

I’ve had the cutting board in the left for about a year and a half and thought it was about time I get another one since my bread knife is what caused the deep scratches, I’ve used this cutting board about every day. It’s a really good cutting board tho and the one on the right is the new one I haven’t put mineral oil on it yet but will before I use it. Over all it’s a great cutting board and very affordable for the size.

Love it. It's a wonderful size and I love it alot because I had smaller boards previously of course, but needed something on a larger square scale.
