It works well if you're trying to find anything bigger than a 5mm thick nail. Anything smaller than that doesn't get detected

It looks like solid equipment, but it functioned only a short time properly
The metal detector was working well for about a month. After that it started giving a continues kind of background signal. I cleaned the detector head carefully, replaced the battery but it keeps giving an annoying background sound and it is less sensitive to find metal objects. So, after a month it is rather useless.
