This product was easy to use, did not have an overwhelming smell, and was good value for the money.

By using this spray, it leaves droplets on the boots and lifts the leather where it touches. It ruins the shine of the boots, and lets the leather start peeling off.

📦 Application & First Impressions Unlike many heavy-duty silicone sprays, this is a non-aerosol pump. It doesn’t have that overwhelming chemical smell, so I felt comfortable using it indoors. The mist is fine, though you have to be careful about "drips" if you hold it too close. I applied it after a quick brush-down to remove dust. 🧪 Performance: The Water Test I let the boots dry for about 2 hours (as recommended) and then did a "sink test." Water now beads off instantly rather than soaking into the leather. It’s particularly effective at the seams where the sole meets the upper—usually a weak point for moisture. 🎨 Impact on Appearance This is the biggest win for me: It did not darken the leather. If you’ve used Mink Oil or wax on Blundstones, you know it can turn "Rustic" colors into a dark and flat. This spray maintained the original "distressed" look perfectly. Note: It does leave a very slight matte finish initially, but it buffs out after one wear. ✅ What I Liked Breathable: My feet didn't feel sweatier after the application, which happens with some heavy silicone seals. Versatile: I also tried it on a pair of suede Chelseas, and it worked just as well without matting the "fuzz" of the suede. Eco-Friendly: Being non-aerosol is a nice plus for the environment. ❌ What Could Be Better Bottle Size: 125ml is quite small. I used about 1/4 of the bottle for two coats on one pair of boots. If you have a large collection, this gets expensive quickly. The Pump: Toward the end of the session, the pump started to get a bit sticky. I had to wipe the nozzle to keep the spray even. 💡 Final Verdict If you want to keep your Blundstones looking exactly the way they did in the box while adding salt and rain protection, this is the specific product you need. It’s a bit pricier than generic sprays, but the "no-darkening" factor makes it worth the premium for high-end leather.

Awesome product!

Overall a good spray once you get the hang of it. Do NOT spray outside if there is wind, the spray won’t mist properly, comes out in drops rather than a mist and is wasteful (I learned the hard way). I recommend spraying inside on cardboard from an arms reach distance. Once I did it properly it worked great! Wish there was a bit better instructions.

Perfect spray, protected my blundstones really well.
