Product is good, instructions need improvement.
These work great. I decided to change my Salewas from a standard tie to a salomon style no tie lock. This kit succeeded in doing so. Consumers should know that the instructions aren't the greatest and will need a bit on intuitive thinking to get the job done.

Good quality. But sewing???
Good quality. However, I didn't know I was signing up to do a sewing class. If I wanted that, I'd just hire someone.I purchased another brand that didn't force me to sew.

Not worth it
Slider does not secure the laces even when put together properly.

Took me an hour and still not right
Some of the parts are impossible to thread through.Good thing I had old parts because half of the parts are impossible that were provided.

I loved the speed laces on my Salomon trail running shoes.
These were perfect. I have a pair of Salomon trail running shoes with these speed laces, and I want to put a set on my Adidas golf shoes. These worked perfectly. I did a quick and dirty tie-off at the top, which seems to work just fine. They came with toothpicks to push the laces through, which worked well. Based on my trail running shoes, I left about 4" of lace when they are tightened down.
