LOVE our Govee lights. We did buy more clips so they were more secure especially on the peaks of our house. Amazing value for the price. They have stayed adhered in sub zero temperatures for over a week and with high winds. Easy and quick to install. Great app interface to change color and patterns, they have some pre programmed and a DIY setting so you can design your own.

I bought these screw in clips to hold my Govee RGBIC outdoor permanent lights because, being in the South with the heat & humidity, I did not trust the 3M adhesive. My eaves are painted wood. They tend to change temperature often, resulting in expansion & contraction of the wood - which then tears at the 3M adhesive that's included with the Govee lights.I used only one clip per light. (Unless the light came loose, then I added a second clip on the other side) They have held up very well so far. The white color of the clips blended in with my house paint and the Govee lights. You don't notice them hardly at all. The small screws included adhered to my eaves. I used a small battery drill/driver to put them all in.Overall, I've been pleased with them.

The media could not be loaded. Love these lights so far. We’ll see how 3m stick tape holds up to MN winter. Easy to stick up. I added extra clips that I purchased for peace of mind but they went up fast. Lots of videos to see tricks to install. Highly Highly recommend so far!Love the Govee app. Lots of choices and easy to use! Go get it when not goes on SALE for sure!

I bought an “elite” set from Costco and read that these were necessary to fully secure the lights. Turns out the elite set (and maybe others) already include non-adhesive brackets that actually sit around the light, that allow you to screw in. I preferred using the included brackets over these simply because they were a more secure mount.These were necessary in places I couldn’t use the other brackets because of joists or other obstructions. My biggest complaint is that when I would screw them in the entire bracket would twist with the screw (despite the adhesive), which sometimes would pull on the cord.Overall they still added support and I’m glad I had them, but I only needed 10-15 for the 175’ installation.If your set doesn’t include brackets, I’d definitely recommend these over just using the adhesive backing.

These were great for our permanent ourdoor lights! We read that we should add more clips to the lights than what was recommended, so we bought these. They worked perfectly and have held up great with the last few weeks of fluctuating temperatures.

My husband recently installed Govee lights in our eaves. We are quite pleased with how the lights work. We actually purchased the professional kit last December but did not get them installed after heeding the warnings by other users that the individual lights’ adhesive backing needs to be installed in above freezing temperatures. As it consider this a permanent installation, we purchased this extra set of light clips so my husband could put a wire clip on every light to ensure no future adhesive failures would compromise our enjoyment of our outdoor holiday decorations.

I purchased these with 150 ft of the Govee permanent lights. They work just as I expected. Screws are a bit small but all in all, they work.
