Appears to be solid protection
This zinc spray was used to protect a new wheel bearing hub. With time, all wheel bearing hubs will experience surface rust, which complicates brake rotor removal and simply looks bad. On a new hub, I wiped the surface clean with 200-proof denatured alcohol and applied a light first coat. After an hour to dry, I applied a second "wet" coat. This second coat was given 24-hours to dry. The resulting zinc coat was smooth and level; I was surprised at how well the coat leveled. Coating adherence appears to be good. The rotor was gently moved around to align the rotor screw and there were no visible scratches in the coating. I cannot comment on longevity, but I am pleased with the initial application.

high solids zinc lays on heavy
I used this on my truck exhaust pipe after I welded it. There still isn’t any sign of rust and it didn’t peel or burn off.

Shake can for minimum 5 minutes aggressively
This paint is very runny, stay 8-10 inches away from work and move at a steady pace

Easy to use, dries quickly. Great for painting welds after welding galvanized metal
I made a grill guard for my tractor today, and welded a large D shackle on the bottom of it for chaining the tractor to the trailer. The shackle is galvanized, but I'm painging the grill guard black. So I used this to paint the welds on the D-shackle before painting the rest of the grill guard.Less than an hour after applying the zinc paint I put painters tape on painted surface, to keep etching primer and black paint off it as I finished the rest of the guard. I thought it might pull the new paint off, but it didn't! It was still warm (from welding) when I sprayed the zinc on, but still I give this credit for drying quickly and tolerating tape very soon.It went so well, I welded a D shackle on the draw bar and painted those welds with this zinc paint too.
