The bottle is made from some kind of durable PET modification, but it is neither Tritan nor polypropylene. So according to the specification of the plastic type, you cannot heat it, you cannot wash it in a dishwasher. However, I washed it in the dishwasher, nothing happened to the bottle at all, I just threw it away because I read that this type of plastic is not intended for that. The Gorilla E-Tribe team is very responsive and even offered to replace the damaged bottle, but in fact, nothing was broken. I just don't want to risk the potential release of something incorrect in the dishwasher. Otherwise, it's a very durable and convenient bottle.

Not sure why the ratings are so low. This is the only bottle I’ve been using since 2 months and I love it!!! No leak, no spill, sturdy but light. Highly recommend.

I LOVE THIS WATER BOTTLE!!! I got this in hopes it would help me to drink more water! I have been working out for the past 4 months and losing weight, but it's been coming off slowly. I always drink a lot of water WHILE I'm working out but the rest of the day, practically nothing! I was very excited when this came because it gives you a goal, almost a challenge to keep up with your drinking and apparently I LOVE a challenge! Haha! I have been filling this twice a day, every day and drinking it ALL! If I see that it's like, 1PM and my water is still at 11:30 or so, I just chug and chug really start dropping the weight! Now it's coming off much faster and this is the only thing I have changed! Okay, now about the bottle itself. I got mine in the green color, which is just beautiful! It's very soft feeling and easy to grip. The strap for it is the perfect size and very strong and well made! It has the ball thing in it for mixing and shaking up stuff, which I don't need, myself, as I only use it for water, but I'm sure other people will love it! It also has a little strainer thing that sits in the top of it and I use that to keep the ice away as I'm drinking! It's super easy to carry with the strap when I'm out power walking and keeps my hands free while walking my dogs! Also, the price is so good, I ordered another one in pink for my daughter who is newly pregnant and needs to drink more water! You do need to wash it by hand, so I ordered a bottle sponge with a long handle and it cleans up so easily! I just love this water bottle and can't say enough good things about it!

Gorilla E-Tribe Green Water Bottle Time Marker (32oz)- I recently got the Gorilla E-Tribe water bottle and, while it's plastic, the coating on the outside has a nice texture to it and it's almost suede-like. I appreciate the markings to remind me when to drink water and how much I've drunk. I often get distracted and forget if I've had enough or even any water so the time markings are particularly helpful. The powder mixing ball works really well to fully incorporate any powders I add, like protein or greens. The lid is leak-proof and closes very tightly, but also is pretty easy to open with one hand. Not sure I'd just throw it into my bag like an animal, but inside my backpack is ok if it's not jostled too much (I'm afraid the easy opening top might be too easy to open). My only gripe is the size of the drinking area. It's very narrow, and while it works ok, it is not my preferred method of drinking. I feel like I'm daintily sipping rather than actually drinking. But, personal preference.

With a full 1-liter capacity and clear measurement markers down the side, it’s great for tracking water intake throughout the day. It comes well-equipped right out of the box: a locking flip lid, a removable infusion filter for fruit or herbs, and a hard plastic shaker ball that does an excellent job breaking up protein powder clumps—no lumps in my shakes. The bottle is completely leakproof in my experience; you can see that in the video where Ib tested that without any spills. The lock can be operated with one hand, which is convenient, though the mechanism feels a bit clumsy and doesn’t inspire total confidence. You will see me fumble a bit with that in the review. That would be smoother given time to adjust to the mechanics of the flip latch. There is great flow from the spout. It lacks that rock-solid secure feel of a screw-on cap or a CamelBak-style bite valve. While I haven’t had it accidentally pop open, I can easily imagine it happening during transport if the lock gets bumped. Since it’s made from BPA-free plastic (not insulated stainless steel or glass), it’s lightweight but not temperature-retaining—drinks will reach room temperature quickly. As expected with plastic, I suspect it will retain scents and flavors from strong additives like flavored protein or fruit infusions. I’d avoid putting anything strongly flavored in it if I plan to switch back to plain water later. Overall, it’s a practical, feature-packed shaker at a reasonable price. If you want leakproof convenience and mixing performance without breaking the bank—and don’t mind non-insulated plastic—this is a good choice. Just don’t expect premium build security or odor resistance.
