So, this dual-layered DVD burner worked on a very old system without issue. If you have a more recent system, I imagine it would work just as well. I bought it due to the fact that I needed a way to burn a Linux ISO that required a dual-layered burner because the ISO was so much larger than the older ISOs from Ubuntu. Obviously, I am running a Linux system and this drive worked without incident. I also would imagine that it would work well with a Windows system without issue. Everything these days is pretty much plug and play, so if you need a dual-layered DVD drive, buy without hesitation.

It worked great and is good quality drive. Cd dvd drives are being phased out but some of my customers still need one.

Flattened reasonably well...but with bubbles.
It did flatten reasonably well with 10# boxes on the corners for 10 hours. still had bubbles which I thought might disappear with uses. No such luck. The chair sunk in the matt instead.
