Overall-Effective & As Effective As Any Progestin-only Pill!
I've been prescribed many different P.O.P.s (progestin-only pills) in the past, and I can honestly say that the Opill works just as well as any Rx P.O.P. I have been taking the Opill, for over 6 months, and I also notice that my cycle is a lot more regular than when I wasn't on any birth control method. In fact, I have very minimal bleeding overall. Of course, every woman's cycle is different, but progestin-only pills can often be effective for many seeking relief from abnormal cycles and even heavy bleeding... without the negative & unwanted hormonal effects of estrogen. For a 3-month supply and even the 1-month pack, the price is-in my opinon-very fair and within reason. It is an absolutely great option for those who do not want to go through the trouble of seeing a Gyno or any doctor for Rx birth control! Also- just a word of advice: There is a 3-4 hour window with taking P.O.Ps in general, so please be advised that taking Opill at around the same time daily is imperative! Consistency is key. For those without Health Insurance, this is a great option, as well. Birth control, just like any medication, can be pricey without using Insurance. Not everyone has access to medical insurance, though, so this is an amazingly accessible option. Overall, this is a great product, and I will be continuing to use Opill- without a doubt!

Opill is a solid choice.
Opill Daily Oral Birth Control Pills Review Opill is a progestin-only daily oral contraceptive (also known as the “mini-pill”) that offers a hormone-based, estrogen-free birth control option. It is available over the counter, making it a convenient choice for those seeking reliable pregnancy prevention without a prescription. Pros: ✔ Over-the-Counter Access – No prescription needed, making it easily accessible. ✔ Estrogen-Free – Ideal for individuals who cannot take estrogen due to health concerns (e.g., migraines, high blood pressure). ✔ 99% Effective with Perfect Use – When taken consistently at the same time each day, it provides strong pregnancy protection. ✔ Fewer Side Effects for Some – Compared to combination pills, it may have a lower risk of side effects like nausea or blood clots. Cons: ❌ Strict Timing Requirement – Must be taken at the same time every day for maximum effectiveness; missing a dose by more than 3 hours may increase pregnancy risk. ❌ Possible Irregular Periods – Some users experience spotting, changes in menstrual cycles, or even skipped periods. ❌ May Cause Initial Side Effects – Like any hormonal contraceptive, potential side effects include breast tenderness, headaches, or mood changes. ❌ Not for Emergency Contraception – Opill is for daily use and does not replace emergency contraception options. Final Verdict: Opill is a great choice for those seeking hassle-free, non-prescription birth control that is estrogen-free and effective when taken correctly. However, the strict timing requirement and potential for irregular periods may be a downside for some. If you need a low-maintenance birth control option and can commit to taking it daily at the same time, Opill is a solid choice.

try it!
definitely a very reliable and trustworthy birth control!! the first three months, i did have two periods however, so that was annoying. but my fourth month, everything went right back to normal and my period is on time again. my cramps are light or even nonexistent (used to be bedridden) and i have an appetite again! it's worth every bit of the money.

So far so good.
I’ve been on it for 2 weeks now and so far so good. I have had little to no side effects. The first few days I could definitely feel some side effect like a mild headache and loss of appetite. I did have increased appetite around week one for about 48 hours but it’s back to normal. Due for my period in 8 days so that’ll be the real test. We waited over 48 hours but I was also in my fertile window when we decided to give it a go so we will see. Will update after I finish the first pack.

Not pregnant! No estrogen- Blood clot history
1 month review. Okay I have taken this BC for a full month so I feel comfortable writing a review for so far. It did not make me nauseous or give me acne. I also have not seen any weight gain within the past month. My cycle just started so I must say — it works LOL. If you know what I mean 🌚 I take it at the same time every day. I chose mid day because I didn’t want to miss it if I overslept in the morning or was out late at night somewhere and didn’t have them with me. I started this BC because a blood clot was found in my leg from my previous BC so I can’t take anything with estrogen in it. I am still considering switching to the copper BC but for right now, until I make a decision— this is a good place holder. Just ordered my 2nd month pack ☺️

Excellent quality
Honestly, Opill has worked really well for me. It’s easy to take, and I haven’t had any issues with it. I like the peace of mind it gives me without having to deal with more complicated methods. It’s practical, accessible, and as long as you take it correctly, it does a great job at preventing pregnancy. For me, it’s been a good option and I’m happy with the results.

This was my experience :(
I’m honestly so exhausted. I started taking this pill in February. I was almost to month 8. The first 3 months weren’t too bad. Had some spotting in months 1 and 3, but that was to be expected. Months 2 and 4 were great. Then, it became awful. I started having 2 periods a month (2 weeks apart) with spotting and short periods between. I only had like 4-6 days a month where I wasn’t bleeding. I had almost daily headaches, was extremely bloated no matter what I did, and was just super sad and exhausted all the time. I had cramps constantly, so it was hard to get up and do anything. My periods didn’t become any lighter or easier to deal with (I have endometriosis). The only plus side to this pill was preventing pregnancy. I made the difficult decision to stop taking the pill 2 days ago. Already, the bleeding has stopped. If you don’t mind the crappy symptoms and you just really want to prevent pregnancy, this is a great pill. It’s definitely worth the money and easy to access, which was a plus for me. I just can’t deal with the symptoms anymore. This is just my experience, so you may have better luck, but just beware of the side effects.
