I love these lamps for the cost! They came wrapped well and easy to assemble. The lamp uses a three way bulb and gives off good light. They look nice with my decor.

I'm putting together a temporary home for a relative that will stay there only 9 months, so we looked for things that were affordable but still half way descent. I was SO surprised when I opened these lamps. They are heavy weight. The Brushed nickle looks wonderful, and they are far more than I expected based on the price I paid. I'm now thinking of getting two for my husbands' and my house as well. Good news is they held up beautifully in transit with nothing to break (unlike the other lamps I ordered which had ceramic bases). They were packed very well inside thick styrofoam. Assembly is easy. For the lamp: Simple pull the bottom cord down out base bottom till socket (other end) is tight against the top of the base, then twist to screw the socket into the base. The lamp shade is put together by putting in three preformed heavy gaugue wires into each shade. Just line up the middle of the small end of each preformed wire with one of the 3 prongs on the top of the shade, then tuck under on both ends. Wrinkles disappear. Very easy. Shade is white. I emailed the company to make sure of the wattage bulb to use (3 way) and they said the max was 50/100/150 in Type A. The CF rating is on the lamp if your prefer compact fluorescents. While they do have 3 way CF bulbs, no one I know has ever had any luck with them. They're not made for 3 way -- and the lower two levels just burn out quickly.

So these are just basic lamps with a nice design for my needs. They are thin stamped type metal construction. They are about an inch shorter than the advertised height so I am not terribly happy about that as I have a tall bed and tall nightstands and I needed a little bit taller than normal of a lamp and I ordered these based on the description with is incorrect. The main description shows 30 inches tall and the description farther down says 29. They are more like 28.5 tall. I looked for options online and I guess some people just put books under their lamps or get these wood blocks that can be finished in any color to raise the lamps up. I like the look of them. These are supposed to be three way switches but I don't know who the hell would be using 3 way, antiquated, incandescent bulbs anymore. I use 60 watt led bulbs and leave it on the switch position whereby my zwave, GE smart outlet can control the on/off and dimming of the bulbs via my Samsung Smartthings setup. It is also voice controlled with my Amazon Echo/Alexa on my night stand. On a side note here I also have an automation where these lamps start coming on at 1 percent brightness at a specific time in the morning and ramp up to a 20 percent brightness over a period of 5 or 10 minutes. This is all adjustable through samsung smartthings. I tried 100 watt led bulbs and they worked great and were very bright with these. The dimmest part though was too bright so that is why I am using 60 watt leds. I wasn't impressed with the rubber foam stuff on the bottom of the metal lamp on one of the lamps. It was cut too small of a diameter and didn't keep the metal portion properly cushioned from whatever surface this lamp would be put on. Something to note if you have nice wood surfaces and move the lamp which could result in scratches. These do require assembly which was easy enough. The packaging is kind of a pain in the behind with all tape and pieces of white styrofoam going all over. There were a few dark ink type stains on one of my shades. Not happy about that but I rotated them out of sight and they were small. I would most likely order these again if I needed more lamps. I visited the local Home Depot and wasn't impressed with their selection and price. I am just a single dad with no decorating skills at all and after many years of not having lamps next to my bed I am really glad to have purchased these. Having lamps on each side of the bed really changed the feeling of the room and I wished I had bought lamps years ago. Having the voice control dimming really makes them convenient. I just say "echo light" or "echo dark" to turn them on or off.

These are beautiful, metal-based lamps with pretty shades. They're heavy enough to stay where you put them. I have nothing negative to say about these! Buy them, enjoy them!

These lamps are much better quality for the price than any that I could be find shopping local stores and national chains. They are very sturdy, straight, and the 3way works flawlessly with either a 3way bulb or a non-3way bulb. The plug is substantial, the fixture attaches to the lamp base securely. The bottom is covered so the metal doesn't scratch the table surface. Also, in all my years of online shopping I have never received an item that was packaged so well! The packaging prevents any damage during shipping. I was very impressed.

These lamps look beautiful once put together. I deducted stars because I spent quite a bit of time looking for lamps that were not made in China and thought Ashley made their products in America. Therefore I paid significantly more thinking they were better quality if made (even mostly) in the USA. However when I received the package it was directly from China right on the label. That was disappointing. Also the product tag on one of the lamps was foolishly put inside the lamp as opposed to around it like the other one. This meant the string went directly through (touching the components) inside the lamp which is not wise and even a potential fire hazard. When I tried to pull it out it broke. The styrofoam used in the packaging was so cheap it actually crumbled apart into tiny particles making a huge mess. Once put together these lamps look nice but we will see how long they last. I know after reading many other reviews of various lamps listed that several customers complained of lamps not working long. I hope that is not the case with these considering the price. I hope more quality products that are made here are added to the selection,

I love the light these lamps cast in my living room! They are beautiful, bold and make my living room look complete! They were easy to assemble and came well packaged. The price point was perfect!

J'ai acheté ces lampes pour le salon, elles sont plus grosses que je croyais, alors j'ai changé mes lampes de ma chambre pour celles-ci. L'abat-jour était un peu froissé, j'ai repassé avec un fer à vapeur. Très joli dans ma chambre.
