Will an e-reader measuring 8-1/4" x 5-1/2" x .75" fit in the main compartment?

My husband really like this bag lots of compartment and very lightweight in pack I purchased two one brown & black.

Will a regular sized iPad fit in this bag (brown 3)?

Fits a phone...but not an iPad. Too small for a mini-pad too.
