Bought two new bowls for making my breads. These are good size and light weight. They easily nest into theirselves and into the other larger bowl I just bought. Their height is roughly 5 inches. They are 13 1/2 inches across including a lip of 1/2 inch all the way around. Again, I ordered a set of bowl that was supposed to be made in "India." While these are nice looking bowls, there was no stamp on the bottom of the bowls or label indicating where they were made, so I have to wonder if they were actually made in India. They have a better sheen/surfacing than the other bowl that I bought, so perhaps they were made in India. I did note that a label had been affixed to both, but was removed before they were shipped (the adhesive gum was still visible before I washed them.

I’m going to be honest, I did not buy this for mixing anything. My kids needed something to get energy out at the end of the day, and I remembered that I used to spin and wobble across my aunt’s kitchen floor in her mixing bowls as a kid. We don’t have anything big enough, so I found these, and they’re exactly as pictured/described. They’re stainless steel, a bit thinner than the ones I grew up using, but sturdy nonetheless. They’re larger than a large dinner plate. So, large enough for a 5 year old to sit in, though admittedly, not large enough for me. Both my boys are having a blast spinning, wobbling, drumming, mixing, etc. and I didn’t have the spend $80 on two of the toys marketed for the same type of play. If you’re looking for a ridiculously huge bowl, or for something for your young children to let out some energy, this is the product for you. I gave four stars only because they are relatively thin from what I was expecting, but for the price I should have known better. The width in the material does not seem to affect the integrity of the bowl, especially if you intend to use it for mixing.

That's right, I am going to make the decision for you, buy these bowls. Let's Talk Pros: 1. These bowls are stainless! That is correct, you did not misread. This steel is completely stainless, not a stain to be found. 2. They are cheap as....well they are quite cheap. 3. Good for emergency weapon if you are assaulted in the kitchen but dont want to cause permanent damage. Cons: 1. Did not help me insomnia 2. I am not getting paid for this review.....but this review is so good that I feel like I should be?
