I use these on my dining table with large chunky tapers. I’ve not gotten compliments but I sure do enjoy looking at them when the table is set! The brass casting is heavy and they do not tip over when bumped!

These are well made and esthetically to my taste. They are heavy, as accurately described, and I thought would make nice holders for our weekly Shabbat dinner. This is an amendment of my earlier review. With the use of drip inserts my wife has found these work OK for Shabbat candles. We bought a second pair for our summer home. P.S. I still think they are a little too big to hold the candles firmly, but who am I to argue with she who lights the candles?
