Good quality tea leaves
My go-to bulk bag of loose leaf black tea had started to show up with fillers or stems in it. The whole reason I love loose leaf tea over bagged, is because it’s less likely to have fillers. So that wasn’t acceptable. I decided to give this tea a try instead, and upon opening the box I am so pleased. The tea looks beautiful and high quality for the price. It brewed into a delicious cup of tea, and I noticed there was no sediment in the bottom of my tea infuser. My only complaint is that the box and the bag inside are weak material and cannot be resealed, so I’m going to need to purchase a tea tin large enough to hold a pound of tea. But I will, because I’m likely going to get this tea again.

Far better than big tea bag.
I love iced tea. I drink iced tea daily. Normally I use tea bags from one of the big tea bag manufacturers. Lipton, Salada, Red Rose etc. Usually Lipton. This has always been fine. However, my teen son has recently been learning about microplastics and urged me to stop using tea bags. (Look up tea bags and microplastics.) I reluctantly agreed and started searching for loose orange pekoe or black tea. I happened upon this ^ company on Amazon and the reviews seemed good so I gave it a try. I am so glad I did. This stuff makes some of the best iced tea I've ever had. First off the leaves are whole so its not some ground up mystery powder found in tea bags. Its a dense bag of dried tea leaves! It looks great. Smells delicious. Despite being a long time tea drinker, I am a bit of a tea novice. I've been limited to commercial tea bags, however the difference, to me, is huge. It's hard to describe. I mean, it tastes like the tea I normally drink, but way better. Fresher. Smoother. Less bitter. Without that teabag taste. It's like I can differentiate the different flavors and aromas better. They're more present. It is much better than tea bags. I'll never go back. I purchased one of those big tea brewing cans with all the holes so no microplastics. Pour into a glass pitcher then into a glass cup. I've already made it through most of the bag, I'm ordering another pound of this tea right after I right this review. Long story short, this tea is far better than any teabags I've tried.

Caffeine content
Very nice tea. A lot of caffeine so I can only drink one cup a day so I don’t get stomach pain.

Good value.
You get a lot of tea for the price. It's a bit light in both flavor and caffeine and a long steep time compared to most black teas. Because of this it's great for custom blending with herbal teas in my opinion. As the flavor doesn't overpower others and it's steep time is more flexible and forgiving so herbals can get their chance to develop. Though it's quite good on it's own. That said, don't make my mistake and not have a big enough container for it. Whole leaf's take up a lot more volume then I expected and I ended up needing two containers to keep it all in. Lol. Just tells you how much you are really getting of the stuff.

my favorite everyday Ceylon tea
I love this tea, my favorite loose leaf everyday Ceylon tea. I make it hot and cold brew, and it's great with cardamom and cinnamon or in a full chai recipe, or just with sugar and lemon. You can brew it short or long as eight minutes hot and the flavor is always good. There are more complex Ceylon grades that are sometimes more expensive or with broken leaves and have more caffeine, but I think if you want a good OPA you can't beat this- the cold brew is especially good, with bright and clean flavor. The price has been creeping up a little since I started ordering but it's still a good value. But I really hope we don't get hit with tariffs for tea from Sri Lanka, both for the farmers and workers and for those of us who love it.

I bought both OP and OPA from a tea plantation (Blue Field) in SriLanka a couple of years ago and it was definitely the best black tea I've ever had. It's supposed to have a strong buttery flavour and no bitterness at all. This is not it. This tastes like supermarket tea. I believe that for the OPA grade it has to be only the first leaf which gives the tea that fresh but rich flavour. This tasted like old and lower quality leafs. It's not quite as bitter as the powder you buy at walmart but I still feel the bitterness and no trace of the actual flavour I was expecting.
