I bought cacao to that brews like Coffee and they offered different coffee makers before checking out, and I settled on a Moka Pot (Cuban Coffee Maker) because it seemed like the texture would be slightly richer w/Moka Pot instead of other options besides a full-on espresso machine and I didn't want to commit to all that because I wasn't even sure if I'd like the roasted cacao, but Moka pots are intended to be used on a gas stove with flame right on the bottom, and I have electric stove, so I decided that I would hunt down an electric Moka pot at amazon instead, AND I LOVE IT!!! I works great, clean-up is kinda a pain, says not to run the electric unit under water to clean it, I clean it w/ethyl alcohol+water mix and paper towel, and I've gotten it down so that it's not a total pain, except for digging out the grinds from the metal filter, they get pretty tightly packed... I saw someone complain about getting the metal filter out of the base, I just turn it upside down over the sink after I remove the carafe part... I do run hot water through the carafe before I use the ethyl alcohol water mix because the cacao leaves a butter residue that hardens a little bit after it cools. It makes a pot of brewed drink relatively quickly, w/in 5 mins - but I have discovered that letting it fun for 20 mins makes for a deeper flavor. I usually fill it completely to max. I feel like I got a good quality product at a good value and didn't get ripped off w/a janky product, I recommend this electric cuban coffee maker/moka pot if you're interested, it's worth it.

First three times out really great espresso including Cuban style espresso with the sugary sweet foamy froth on the top. That last part there was what really impressed me. I’ve made Cuban espresso for years with the usual small cafetera & it’s always touch & go as to when you start pouring the coffee from the pot when it first starts coming out & into whatever cup or container you have the sugar in & ready to be whipped up. The temperature of the coffee remained perfect & the resulting froth was excellent. Good purchase. Well satisfied.

I bought this Cuban coffee maker and I was very pleased with how it brewed Cuban Coffee or espresso. It's fast and you have your coffee in just a few minutes. It didn't leak and easy to clean. High quality, well worth it compared to the less expensive models found in discount stores.

This coffee machine is incredible. It is super easy to use and saves time and cleaning in the morning. It makes a decent amount of coffee, which is great when you have many family members or friends who drink coffee in the mornings. It is definitely worth the money.

It makes an acceptable mocha-style espresso coffee quickly. Starting with cold water in the boiler, it will take about 3 minutes to brew. It will auto-shut off. This is much more convenient than having to place the pot on the stovetop. It will leak (a few drops) between the boiler bottom and top if not tightened adequately or coffee grounds are present on the boiler rim before tightening. The lid is plastic and I would have preferred metal; be cautious that force is not applied to the lid when tightening. To avoid discomfort, you must wait for it to cool down to clean before preparing a second pot. Pouring coffee with the lid down will result in a spill. I learned to just open the top slightly to prevent this. I would recommend this coffee brewer to others.

The media could not be loaded.  Esta cafetera no es la primera q tengo de este tipo. Quiero decir el modelo, porque esta marca primera y última vez. (Hago la aclaracion para q no piensen que fue mala manipulacion)LA DEVOLVERE CON PRONTITUD. La compre después de leer buenos comentarios sobre ella. Mi experiencia ha sido pésima. En primer lugar llegó tarde, pero lo peor es el funcionamiento.Lo primero, cuando la colocas en la base vacía tiene poca estabilidad, se tambalea hacia los lados. Después de montarla con todo para hacer el café cuando el agua comienza a ebullir se sale por un lateral en la zona donde enrosca y va la junta y para acabar de completar solo salio la mitad del cafe. ES LO PEOR Q HE COMPRADO EN AMAZON.NOOOO LA RECOMIENDO EN ABSOLUTO. (Tal vez tuve mala suerte pero no la quiero) Espero les sirvaAhi dejo fotos y video.

It is a great electric coffee maker

I've had a few brands of these electric mocha pots. It's the preferred method of brewing morning coffee at my house and gets a lot of use. I've had this pot for several months and it is holding up well. In the beginning, it was a little tough to screw the top on tight enough to keep steam from escaping. Now, after using for while it seals perfect. Some pots require minimum contact to seal, this one take a little more effort, but still is relatively easy to separate when it's time to empty out the grinds. My past experience with other brands has always shown the carafe to be the weakest part. I've had them leak or the handles break off. This handle design seems solid which is a big plus for me. I'm looking forward to years of service and thousands of cups of strong coffee. I would recommend and purchase again.
