Delicious and makes you feel good!
I add this to my coffee every morning instead of creamer or milk and it’s perfect, just sweet enough and makes me feel good for the rest of the day.

LOVE this brand!
Great product from a great brand. Super clean ingredients and great value. The taste isn’t too sweet so I like to add in some stevia. Smells lovely and dissolves easily in hot water with my whisk.

Creamy & Delicious • Bag Doesn’t Reseal
I am about one week in of adding this Philosophie Cosmic Elixir Superfood Blend with Collagen + Adaptogens to my morning cup of Joe. I love the light vanilla & coconut flavor of this blend, it makes my coffee a bit creamy and delicious, plus it’s loaded with healthy and organic ingredients. The bag contains 32 servings (one tbsp). The powder takes a bit longer to dissolve than other collagen blends that I have tried, but after it is stirred for a couple of minutes, there are no leftover sediments in the bottom of my cup. Although it comes in a resealable bag, my bag will not reseal after (carefully) opening, which the packaging design needs to be addressed. Overall, I am very pleased with this product; the $32 price tag (at time of this review) seems reasonable for a quality collagen + adaptogens blend, and I look forward to it every morning in my cup of coffee.

Contains He shou Wu (Fo-Ti), Which Has No Proven Benefit, but which Has (Rarely) caused Liver Damage
Short Review: This Delicious powdered supplement contains a small amount of the Chinese Herb He Shou Wu which is known to rarely cause Liver Damage. Note that some reliable manufacturers sell He Shou Wu supplements (Under the more common US name, Fo-Ti), but from what I read this herb offers no proven benefits, but it is well known that in rare cases to have caused liver damage. What follows is primarily a safety review based on Company transparency, Accountability, and Quality. The Details Transparency: This item is manufactured and or distributed by “The Philosophie”, which has a website at PhilosophieSuperfoods. There is an “About us” page that says the company was started by Sophia Jaffe, a “wellness expert” and “certified raw vegan chef” who’s “passion for healthy eating led her to create Philosophie.” She has a podcast and her own website, teaches yoga and does personal consulting for a fee. Accountability: I can’t find any information about third party lab testing or Good Manufacturing practices at Amazon or at their website. The company did respond quickly to my questions. I appreciate they were honest (which is refreshing) and indicated that their facilities are not GMP certified. Quality: This is said to be a powder made from a “hormone-balancing marine collagen, mucuna, Chinese medicinal herb He Shou Wu (said to be estrogenic), monk fruit, vanilla, tocos, and coconut milk powder”. Due to my multiple concerns about this product I didn't taste it initially, but did try a small amount of the powder, which is delicious (so it might be easy to get more He Shou Wu than intended). Is He Shou Wu (Fo-Ti) Safe? : According to Healthline “evidence to support its effectiveness is insufficient, and no safe dosage has been determined. Additionally, the remedy has been linked to serious side effects like liver damage.” Such damage may not appear until 30-60 days after using. Although liver damage is rare, in China (where it’s commonly used) “Polygonum multiflorum" (He shou Wu) "is reported to be the most common cause of herbal product related liver injury.” According to the company, this product contains 500 mg of He shou Wu per serving. Note that He Shou Wu is sold as Fo-Ti by reputable brands like NOW, Swanson, and Piping Rock, which commonly contain 1000 mg, or twice as much as this product (note that those companies do claim to be GMP certified). A standard dose of He shou Wu in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia is said to be 3 to 12 grams per day (per medicine.net). The dose they claim is in this supplement would be a relatively low one (1/2 gram). Again, my reasons for giving this one star include 1. Inclusion of a poorly understood herb with a reputation for rarely causing liver damage, 2. It's formulation by someone who's qualifications are unknown to me 3. it's a Proprietary blend. The company indicated to me that there is 500 mg of He Shou Wu (Fo-Ti)per serving of this blend, but the fact that the amount is not specified on the bag bag suggests that there's no guarantee it will include that amount. 4. Unknown whether this is 3rd party lab evaluated. 5. I don't know how the He shou Wu was processed, which some sources suggest can affect its safety. 6. No daily dose specified. Although a Serving is 1 Tablespoon, there are no instructions given for a daily maximum. 7. It’s delicious, so I’m thinking it would be easy to get too much of the He shou Wu. 8. Intentionally or not, it’s not evenly mixed,, but rather a brown powder with white clumps, which suggests I could be getting different amounts of the ingredients with each serving.

I'm a little on the fence with this one, but it seems okay so far
This is one of the better tasting adaptogen supplements I've tried. The taste is pleasant and it doesn't leave me with an upset stomach or anything like that. It's easy to blend into my morning iced coffee and actually makes it taste better, vary rare for something like this lol. But, the safety of some of the ingredients may be questionable, mainly the he shou wu (fo-ti) which seems to have potential to cause liver damage. In addition to the ingredients I'm not able to reseal the bag which is annoying for something that coasts over $30 and makes me question the companies attention to detail. I'm sort of in the middle on this one, I like it but there are some questionable things going on. If I could give it a 2.5 I would, it feels higher than a 2 but not quite a 3 star rating from me. I don't like to see something as easy as a resealable bag not work when the product itself has questionable ingredients and no clear indication of sourcing and testing. But, it seems nice and it tastes nice so it's not a complete fail.
