I only got a sample of these wood wall panels, but from what I can see with my samples, these panels are incredibly well made and would easily be a very effective upgrade to any room. I plan on doing an entire wall in my house with panels like these in the future. I can't exactly speak to the sound-absorbing aspect of these panels, but as dense as the base material is, I could see these being very effective when it comes to sound absorption. Both shades of wood look fantastic. If you're looking to drastically improve the look of your space, the full-size panels are very well worth your consideration.

I have a lovely 1962 mid century home and used this paneling on a bare, white wall. It adds a nice layer of texture to the area. On the floor in front of this wall sit my larger house plants and the slats are a lovely background. I haven't attached them to the wall with screws as described -- prefer to not mar up the original materials. I like it as is, just set on the floor behind some decorative items.

Good product but lacks a little on the craftsmanship, quality control department. The faux wood on the panels themselves don't all line up at the top or bottom. There was also some chips on the faux wood. It's the cheapest acoustic panels on Amazon and for the price is a decent deal.

The double set of wood panel sound proof boards makes a perfect 47” square when the two panels are placed side by side. The laminate wood paneling can actually be painted, which is what I chose to do since I accidentally ordered the wrong color, oak instead of walnut. I painted the dull oak color black, and now I love it. The corner of the wall I placed it on looks sleek. The room actually feels bigger, rather than more closed in as I thought it might. Must be because the vertical slats draw the eye up to make the room feel larger. The noise from the TV and stereo in the room were instantly muffled when standing on the other side of the wall, exactly what we wanted.These panels can be glued onto the wall with wood glue or secured with nails. Adhesive or wall mounting support is not included. It takes a bit of work to situate on the wall.

It looks beautiful install was easy! And the sound it really does work,! These panels are so beautiful too as the color is spot on and gorgeous, highly recommend!
