WORSE DEVICE EVER DOES NOT WORK
WORSE DEVICE EVER DOES NOT WORK This device does not cool anything. It just blows out regular air. The ice packs do nothing to keep the water cool. It is just an over glorified expensive fan. Do not buy this what so ever. This provides no cool air. You are wasting your money. I have tried it out for two days now and no cold air is blowing. My fan provides more relief than this device. Waste of money. Its a SCAM!!!!

Blows cold like the big guys at a fraction of the power
Great mini swamp cooler, works just like my big one but for a smaller space. This isn't like the smaller gimmicky ones, it has a legit evap pad & pump. Pulls 40ish watts at low fan & water pump and a little over 55 watts at full power. The louvers are a nice bonus and the swing feature hits just right. Only thing I would add is a light in the water tank so you can see how much is left in low light. Also, be sure not to kink the hose coming off the water pump in the tank at the bottom. This thing is sweet, if you live where it's dry it will 100% cool you down. Probably going to buy one or two more for myself.

It works, but...
This device will cool a pretty large room. However, its design leaves something to be desired. The "manual" is horrible, with contradictory information. I'm pretty good with "technical" writing. But this "manual" was confusing and pretty unhelpful. I believe I followed the directions about the ice blocks to the letter. But they promptly ruptured and they leak. I intend to acquire sturdier replacements. I warn you though, don't put the provided ice blocks in the water reservoir. They will muddy the "water". Put them in the top compartment only. The "manual" will tell you is okay to do. But, it creates a sludge. I'm sticking with it through this season. But next summer

Not worth it
*update 7/18/24* I lowered the rating to 1 star. The water is even more yellow and there is gunk floating in it now. Doesn’t cool the room off AT ALL and actually makes it more humid. It’s too later to return it, so we are stuck with it, but after summer is over it’s going straight into the trash. *update 7/14/24* The water is yellow in the little plastic tub where you fill it with water. And I see now way to be able to remove the tub to clean it. It’s kinda gross actually. This is essentially a rectangular fan. Yes, it comes with ice packs, but they do nothing to cool off a room. I got this for the room my daughter’s computer in since the air in our house is garbage. She can feel the air hitting her, from the fun function, but the room never cools off. The wheels don’t turn very well either once you put the water in it. But we have a laminate wood floor so that doesn’t affect anything too much. The water lasts a lot longer than I thought it would. I fill it once in the morning and once in the early evening. The remote works great but only if it’s pointing directly at the unit.

One Year Later
I’m writing this review after purchasing this back in April of 2024. It has been one year since purchase and the device leaks now. The noise level is on par with my old portable cooler fan that I had for several years before the motor burned out and it stopped working. To prevent water from leaking everywhere in my kitchen I am having to place a towel under it to soak up what is leaking. Very disheartened it only lasted a year compared to my old cooler fan that I bought from the same company which lasted 4 years. For now, it’s being used as a regular fan until I figure out what to purchase next.

Works GREAT in the right climate.
I live in Colorado, which has a very dry climate, where these kinds of evaporative coolers work quite well. So much so that our home does not have traditional AC but a large evaporative cooler on the roof. It is very important to consider your climate when purchasing one of these. If you live someplace humid, very little water will evaporate inside the cooler as there is already a lot of moisture in the air that surrounds you, so it will not sufficiently cool the air that it blows out into the room. If you live someplace with relatively dry air, this cooler will make a dramatic difference. This unit is compact but has a powerful turbine fan that can easily move the air in a 200 sq ft room. It is easy to fill and has a generously sized tank that will go for over 12 hours. I purchased one and liked it so much that I purchased another a few weeks later—so I obviously highly recommend these.

Its is a good Swamp Cooler
This unit works great. The negative reviews are from people who mis-use the product, mis-understand the directions, or have unrealistic expectations for the cooling feature. It is miss labeled as an "Air Conditioner". This will probably only cool a room about a couple degrees (based on how much ice you put in). The fan is quality. The dirty water people complain about, is because of thier home's air quality! The unit just keeps recycling the water, so eventually it will be dirty. It requires cleaning out. This is my reason for taking a star off... the cleaning is not easy. You can remove the drawer, but its not recommended by the manufacturer and its not easy. You have to be very careful to not pull or pinch the tubes (all could result in damage). Leaking complaints: I suspect multiple reasons why people claim leaking. >They dumped the unit over to remove water, this would need up with water dripping out. >They were rough on the draw/tubes, which caused a loosening of the water connections. >They over fill the water. This could be both in the top or bottom. The top isn't meant to be filled with water, it is there for running water through ice/coolers. This unit has clear min & max water lines, and issues happen when those are crossed. Ultimately, I do like this product. I read a ton of reviews. I saw a lot of user error. Hopefully my review helps.

Broken after 3 days - poor quality - don’t buy
I had high hopes. It worked well for the first two days and then on the third it started leaking water from a corner. It is poorly made and not worth it and now I have the hassle of having to package and return it. Save your self the hassle and expense and don’t buy this poor quality product.
