Price was good considering you get everything you need for the energizer including the battery. Easy setup connecting the battery and after letting it charge per the instructions, it has worked like a dream. Easy mounting to a T-post, but there are other mounting options as well outlined in the instructions. Had an indicator light with a slight audible sound so you know it’s on. Been running for over a week now off the solar panel & have not had any issues. & yes I know it still works well cause I have bumped the fence & been shocked lol. Overall great energizer & I highly recommend.

Provides a very strong pulsed voltage. We had a windstorm and I'm using electric rope which touched one of my grounded t-posts. The result was melting a little of the rope and one of the aluminum conductors. All the while, the voltage with my tester was still maxed out and I didn't even notice. Also noticed it has very good capabilities offsetting grass and weeds while still not having a serious effect. I've used a lot of different fence controllers over the last plus 35 years running cattle including Parmax and so far, this S800 Andmon series is right up there with the best of them. Purchased about a year ago. Hope it continues.

Pure junk! I bought 2 of them and both stopped working after 2 weeks.

I recently purchased two Andmon 50 Miles Solar Electric Fence Charger (0.95 Joule), and I couldn't be happier with its performance. This fence charger has been a lifesaver in keeping pesky animals like rabbits, raccoons, and deer out of my vegetable gardens. The quality of the unit is excellent; it feels well-constructed and durable. I appreciate the thoughtful design, which makes it easy to replace the battery when the time comes. Overall, I would highly recommend this model to anyone in need of a solar electric fence charger.

Have only had it in use for about a week, but it worked exactly as expected, it's powering our electric fence fine, and after an initial charge from the wall has maintained full power from the solar charger for the past 9 days. This outputs a pulse every 3 seconds or so, perfect for electric netting to not get burnt out on a continuous output model.

This charger works great so far (only 3 months as of writing this review), but my only gripe was having to modify a T-Post to mount it. The nubs that are on all my T-Posts were too tall to mount the unit like my other units, so I had to grind off the top few to get it to slide into the receiver on this charger. Big picture, not a huge deal, but annoying none-the less. I LOVE that there is a mechanical switch, unlike my other units that have a soft button to press, and that I can run it off of an extension cord in the winter months. I'm not sure how I will environmentally protect the plug-in adapter yet, maybe just bag the whole thing since I don't need sunlight at that time. Not necessarily part of the review, but worth considering if you are looking at this unit. I still like it enough that I'll probably go with another one of these when I need to replace one of my older units, and am 4/5 happy with it.

The product didn't even last 60 days, and the seller refused to stand behind their product even after contacting them. The battery is fine, but the electronics are junk. Do yourself a favour and buy a different brand.
