Great. Mac book air M2 with 4K 144hz display. Very smooth. No lagging. So far so good.

I purchased a similar looking cable a few months ago for another device but it didn't work with my Anbernic RG Slide. This cable does. The RG Slide immediately detected it and displayed properly on my TV's HDMI input.

My M4 Pro macbook can output 3440x1440p 240hz over HDMI with this cable, which is perfect since the DisplayPort port on the monitor is already in use. The housing around the HDMI connect is larger than I expected.

Good product, works, but 1 star off for the dingle end being so long as to not work with my Asus monitors. Good for anything with plenty of space. Just something to be aware of. The 4k version is about 1cm shorter.

Cable worked great for a few weeks then noticed the display would randomly cut to no video. Went to check the connection at the back of the monitor and it was fairly hot, not “cook an egg” hot, but enough to make me question if this could melt the plastic or start a fire. Oddly worked fine for 8+ hours a day with my Dell work laptop but connected with my 2025 MacBook Air, it would be okay for about 1-2 hours, then the screen would cut out for a few minutes. That’s when I noticed the HDMI connector was really hot. I’m assuming it has some sort of thermal protection built into it to stop it from overheating further but I’ve never experienced that with a cable before. I’ve since switched over to the CableMod version with 0 issues. While I’m normally a fan of UGreen products, this one could have cost me an entire monitor had I not noticed. For monitor reference, I use the 49” Samsung Odyssey G95SD

HDR and HDCP support work as expected, and compatibility with Thunderbolt 3/4 devices is seamless. Overall, this is a high-quality, reliable, and thoughtfully engineered cable. Cable works perfectly and feels like it's good quality. It allows me to use my work laptop with my 49 inch monitor at 5120x1440 resolution and 240hz refresh rate. Works great!

U can get one only 144hz max in this cable and after few days cable become so hot that we have to disconnect after 10 to 15 minute dont purchase this product trust me

Tested on Macbook Air M1 and LG G4 oled. Cable stably provides 4K/120Hz. I didn’t check higher refresh rate as I don’t have such display for testing.

Arrived on time. Used this to link my MacBook to a monitor. Worked perfectly. I also liked the option of cable lengths.
