I noticed my crown started to thin about 2 years ago and didn’t want to be honest with myself that my hair was thinning. Doctors say usually around 3 months is when you can start to see results so I look forward to what this next month has in store for me.I apply it once a day and use a handheld scalp massager to rub it into my scalp. Once a week I use a derma-roller with needles at 1.25mm to let the minoxidil soak into my scalp. I have no skin irritation using the liquid and I have not noticed any other side-effects since using minoxidil.In about my 4th week — for a couple days I noticed some active shedding but they say that’s a sign of new hair growth and that the product is working.I’ve applied the liquid to my temples on my hairline and haven’t particularly noticed a difference of hair growth there, yet. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being completely bald I’m about a 2.5 so I had a lot of hair to begin with but with visible thinning on my crown that I had to do something about it.I share my experience because I know hair loss is a loss for us on many levels and maybe my review can help you to try this product and see how it works for you.

The pros: Good price, easy to apply, takes several months but it works. Reasonably pricedThe Cons: Takes several months to work & must continue to use or hair will fall out. Leaves a residue so you will constantly have tiny flakes. Turns your fingernails yellow (Pro tip: Apply with a makeup or small paint brush)

Purchased this product back in February and I will say it’s a must buy it definitely grew my edges back and even my Willows peak. I see some of the comments where folks are saying it doesn’t work with anything. You have to really put the effort and use it daily now if you have significantly bad edges or thinning of hair, you need to make sure you apply it twice, but it definitely works. Left side of my hairline is significantly thinner than my right side so that side is taking a little longer, but I definitely see the progress.

I have been using all types of minoxidil over the years, I believe I started when I was in my mid 20's and I am now about to turn 31. To be completely honest with you I am not sure if I notice a massive difference. That being said I am so paranoid of losing my hair that I also take finasteride and microneedle my recession spots when I remember/have the resolve to do so. I know the finasteride works to lock in the hair where it is at, and I feel like I see improvement after micro needling, but for minoxidil I only ever notice slight drying and itching from the application zones. Also I really wish someone could formulate an easy to use spray (like hims but not so forking expensive).
