Very good portable speaker. I brought it for the school classroom and it does the perfect job. Clear sound and it's easy to hang it on a higher place. Battery live is really good.

Solid product, links well with multiple phones and the sound quality is decent. A fair weight for the size but still easy to travel with. My wife brings it everywhere we vacation to!

This speaker is excellent. Great sound for the size, good battery life, and easy to connect. I have two of these, and you can rename them for ease of connection. People are always impressed with the sound and they have led to me listening to an awful lot more music due to this sound and the ease of use.

I initially bought two of these JBL Clip 5 speakers for a rather unusual purpose: to hang from the branches of the large Christmas tree in my garden. My plan was to create a festive outdoor experience, using my doorbell's motion sensor to trigger Christmas music through the speakers in sync with the lights. I'm happy to report that the setup worked flawlessly and really elevated our holiday celebrations (if you're wondering, I used Home Assistant to make it work) What truly amazed me, however, was the durability of these little speakers. I left them hanging on the tree from December all the way through to August, exposed to all kinds of weather, and they survived without any issues. I recently took them on a trip to Spain, and they are still working perfectly. The sound quality is interesting. When using a single speaker, I find the audio profile to be very bass-heavy. However, when you pair two of them together, the sound evens out beautifully into a much flatter and more balanced profile, which is fantastic for listening to music. My only real gripe, and the reason I'm giving this four stars instead of five, is the process of pairing multiple speakers. It isn't always as straightforward as just turning them on and having them auto-connect. More often than not, I have to open the JBL app and manually search for the already-paired speakers to get them to sync up, which can be a minor but recurring annoyance. Pros: Incredibly Durable: Survived being left outdoors for over eight months through various weather conditions. Great Stereo Sound: When paired with a second speaker, the sound profile becomes much more balanced and enjoyable. Ultra-Portable: The integrated carabiner makes it easy to clip onto anything, from a tree branch to a backpack. Cons: Finicky Pairing: The app doesn't always automatically connect to paired speakers, often requiring a manual search. Bass-Heavy Solo: The sound can be overly dominated by bass when using just one speaker. Final Verdict: This is a fantastic and impressively resilient portable speaker. Its durability is second to none, and when used as a pair, the sound quality is excellent. If you can look past the slightly clunky pairing process in the app, I would highly recommend it, especially if you plan on buying two for a true stereo experience.

Value for money, better sound quality, clarity

Compact and quite powerful, certainly packs a punch for its size. Battery life is rather good and sound is certainly acceptable. Not as good as my Mini Rig 4 speaker but also half the price. As with all Bluetooth speakers they have there time and place so just don't expect super dynamic range, nothing beats a proper wired set up. But for sounds on the go all good 👍
