Wonderful, well built site. Solar back up power that works great. Easy to install and holds solid. Clear glass with easy to see reticle. Holds its zero well even after a lot of shooting.

Holosun is a fantastic optic, Yes it is made in China and they are making a very durable and top of the line product. Excellent sight picture ,very clear and durable optic, I shoot a lot and I believe this is my eighth one I have purchased for the collection of rifles I have, I own EOTECH and many others, there is nothing more durable than EOTECH but this comes pretty close when you look at it has solar so you really never worry about it working, shake awake, fog and water proof, night vision capabilities, reliable to zero every time, don’t worry about the battery and don’t forget to buy a cheap cover to go with it, you really can’t go wrong with any of the Holosun line

Glass Optical Quality/Characteristics Holosun 501c: Excellent – Glass adds almost imperceptible blueish color. The coating on the glass nearly completely blocks red laser light. EoTech XPS2-0: Excellent – Glass adds almost no color. Trijicon MRO HD: Good – Has almost imperceptible magnification factor (probably around 1.05x). As noted by other reviewers, it is possible to sometimes see a reflection of the emitter/circuit board. This reflection is only visible under unusual/momentary lighting conditions. Neither the magnification nor occasional reflection bothered me. Dot Quality/Characteristics Holosun 501c: Excellent – nearly perfect line/dot quality. Very cool ability to switch between a single red dot and a red dot surrounded by a 68 MOA segmented circle. EoTech XPS2-0: Good – but the center dot and the segmented circle is slightly fuzzy, like it is made up of a bunch of tiny, smudged pixels. Cannot switch to center red dot only. Trijicon MRO HD: Excellent – nearly perfect line/dot quality. Very cool ability to switch between a single red dot and a red dot surrounded by a 68 MOA segmented circle. Parallax Holosun 501c: Very good – almost no/very little perceptible parallax. EoTech XPS2-0: Excellent – almost no perceptible parallax. Trijicon MRO HD: Very good – almost no/very little perceptible parallax. Battery Holosun 501c: Rated at 50,000 hours with one CR2032 for dot-only, 20,000 hours for dot + segmented circle. Also has “shake to wake” feature. Can be left “on” for years. EoTech XPS2-0: Rated for ~500 hours with CRA123. Auto shutoff feature means that it may not be “on” if grabbed in the middle of the night. Trijicon MRO HD: 2.5 Years of continuous use of dot; 75 days of continuous use for complex reticle. Bulk/Field of View Holosun 501c: Largest viewing window, with several milimeters of additional height over the XPS2-0. Thinner/smaller metal casing, resulting in near-perfect field of view. No visible battery compartment. EoTech XPS2-0: Large viewing window. Slightly thicker casing than Holosun, but forward battery placement allows for otherwise unobstructed view (i.e. compared to Aimpoint PRO). Trijicon MRO HD: Smaller tubular viewing window, but still easy to use with both eyes open. Slightly bulky control wheel on top (also holds battery). Construction Holosun 501c: Made in China. Overall seems well built. Quick Detach level is relatively thin metal and could break or bend if dropped while half-way open. Otherwise, seems like it could hold well through hundreds of QD cycles. LED emitter is not fully enclosed and could theoretically be damaged (but very unlikely as it is recessed). EoTech XPS2-0: Made in USA. Seems very well built. Trijicon MRO HD: Made in USA. Seems well built. Mount is not quick release and requires unusual keyed tool to attach/detach with screws.

I waited almost a year after buying this to do a long-term review. To all the haters who told me I NEED to buy a top-tier optic like an Aimpoint or an Eotech and this isn't reliable, I can honestly say this optic is very sturdy and reliable. I've ran this in several competitions now, it's been thrown around in the back of a truck, been drenched in water, and been attached to a carbine with almost a thousand rounds of recoil and it has held zero and still as reliable as day one. I can hit 1/3rd ipsc targets at 100 yards without any problems, and I'm not exactly good. Granted, I don't abuse my equipment all that much, I'm not going to be taking this thing to war or running over it with a truck just to prove a point, but for 99% of "normal" applications this thing is rock solid. I shopped around a lot before buying this, compared against other brands, I get less "star burst" with my astigmatism compared to other brands of red dots (specifically the Sig branded ones are bad for my eyes), the optic is clear and the illumination is plenty bright for bright outdoor conditions with plenty of brightness settings for any situation (fwiw, the Vortex optics IMO don't have enough brightness settings, and don't get quite bright enough for direct sunlight, but an etched reticle can fix that problem). Holosun is the real deal. I might buy another one soon.

10/10 would recommend - YouTube has some great durability videos on this red dot. You’d be surprised at how big of a beating this thing will withstand !

主にインドアメインで使ってますので野外での使用感は分かりません。動画の通りローライト戦でもレティクルが明る過ぎず暗過ぎずくっきりと見えます。レプリカも見かけないし、インドアでは510c自体殆ど見ないので、他人と被りたくない個性を出したい方にお勧めします。自分はつぼみアームズ様から購入しましたが、以前別の光学機器でアフターサービスが完璧だったのと購入後にお手紙を頂くなどアフターフォローもして頂けるので、購入はつぼみアームズ様をお勧めします。

I bought this for my 45/70. I was a bit worried about the recoil but after some research I found out that this red dot can handle a lot of recoil. The sight is very clear, reticle is nice and crisp. I would buy again.

何度ゼロイン調整しても、スコープほどの精度が出ない。ドットサイトにそこまで求めるのは酷かな？
