Bought two so far and hosed down most of my new stuff....rugs, comforter, pillows, bed spread etc. love this stuff. I used to use Crepe, but it's seriously expensive and this does the same job . Haven't seen any yellowing or discoloration, the spray is even and fine, and the water beads up like a freshly waxed car, then rolls right off. For the giant can you get, I'm 100% invested in continuing to it this product. Try one can, you'll be please. Now, for outside gear, like tents and backpacks, there are other options but anything interior, including shoes, It's a home run..

I bought this to protect my new Birkenstocks sandals, which are a very light colored suede. Treated them one month ago, and I'm pleased with the stain-protection from this product. And the spray didn't leave spots or alter the color of the brand new suede.

I bought this to protect my new leather motorcycle boots before leaving on a 4,000-mile trip. I sprayed each boot three times, keeping the spray head about 6" from the leather surface. (Instructions suggest a mist at a larger distance. It rained very heavily during the first three days of my trip offering a great real-world test. Kept my feet dry during the soaking. On the 14th day of my travels it rained for 4 hours while I rode my motorcycle. Afterwards my socks were ever so slightly damp. HOWEVER - this is a lace up boot with eyelets, so the moisture very well may have come through the lace holes or other points of entry vs. soaking through the leather. Overall, I am VERY pleased. The boots cleaned up quickly after being slathered with dirt and water. Tellingly, my white socks never stained suggesting the black leather did not pass any water but instead it likely soaked in through the various gaps in the tongue or lace holes. I'm VERY happy with the performance!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Definitely use outside....

This spray did not last 4-5 weeks as they claim. I would say after about a week and a half it stopped working. I have bought other brands before with less oz and they lasted longer and covered more shoes. This can only lasted for 3 pairs of tennis shoes. The smell was very strong so I recommend applying outside. I won’t be purchasing this product again.

I bought 2 pair of Kizik slip-on shoes. However, as I wore them outside, they tended to get dirty and stained. They even got more stained when wearing them in the rain. I bought this shoe-protector spray, cleaned my shoes well, and after applying it, found it works wonders in keeping my shoes looking good. They don't get dirty and stained anymore. Would highly recommend! Good product!
