Great for smaller pets!
These are so fun! I feel like it helps me and my pets communicate more effectively. I love that they are small enough and easy enough for my chihuahua to use. Our cat has not used the buttons with intention himself, but he has trained our dog to use them to ask us to feed him (he loves to eat)! Have had these for at least 2+ years and have not had to change any of the batteries yet. We don’t use them everyday, but we do use them often! Highly recommend!!!

Good quality
Ease of use and sound quality very good. My toy poodle gradually learns how to use it. He still prefers gesture more than tapping it button. He sometimes complain when having to do extra work tapping it I tape it on the floor to secure it. Put the treat button where his snacks are located. The outside button near the door. I will add more words once he doesn’t complain anymore.

Great for our service dog!
My service dog has learned to use these buttons and we enjoy her "talking" to us! She is an Australian Blue Heeler, very smart and the buttons. But you need a smart dog breed, patience and daily training.. These buttons are durable, I think my6 dog depends more on where the buttons are than on the pictures. Good purchase.

Good product, one button doesn’t function
I love these buttons, they work great. I’ve ordered a couple sets now, unfortunately this last set came with a single “dud” button. Not sure what’s up, but it will not record and only plays back static when pressed. Out of the 14 buttons we have, this is the only one I’ve had issues with. Trying to decide if I request a return and send all 6 back and wait for a new set, or just discard the broken button.

32 words!!
My dog has 32 words now. I got him six for Christmas. None of the batteries has shown any sign of depletion and we have been on this journey for a year. The speak up buttons are clearer and louder, which is excellent since I have a hearing loss. There has been no damage to any of them.

Works well.
We have 2 cats and one is always meowing for something. I’ve seen lots of videos of people teaching their cats how to use these so i wanted to try them out on my cats. The quiet one picked up on the buttons right away. We’d hear a button go off in the wee hours of the morning when she wanted some more food. The one I really wanted to use the buttons is just stubborn and has his sister push the buttons! It’s nice not having to guess what they want. It does take some work on teaching the cats what the buttons mean and but the pressing the button part they picked up on quickly.

Button design is different from my original buttons!
These buttons must be the “first generation” buttons because the speaker is on the bottom of the button as opposed to the next generation buttons which have the speaker on the upper sides of the buttons. I now have both types of buttons and the buttons with the speaker on the upper sides is definitely much clearer, louder and does not sound so mechanical. When the bottom speaker buttons are placed in the hextile the sound is more muffled. They are still a good quality, easy for my dog to press, and were less expensive than the newer buttons. I was looking to save money. If I had known the speaker was on the bottom, I would have reconsidered my purchase. Also, the design of the battery housing is a little more difficult to replace the batteries than the other design. I have included pictures. All that kind of information should be in the description.

Unbelievable! He gets it!
Lucky me! I set up my first 6 buttons and my 11 m old German Shepherd understood the concept right away! He “talks” every day so it is time to expand. My other dogs will have to be trained unless they pick up on it by way of the Shepherd. Easy to use/record and set up!

I'm absolutely thrilled. I bought these buttons so that my guinea pigs could express their wishes, such as "Floor (I want to roam freely in the house)" or "Garden," and similar requests. before, I borrowed a button from my neighbor, it was too large for the little piggies, and I tested whether they would respond to it. Then I purchased six buttons and introduced two of them. One says "Home" and means they want to go back to the cage, while the other one says "Snacks". And so far, they only press the buttons outside the cage. I started practicing with two of my guinea pigs. One is very relaxed and clearly enjoys being challenged. She now understands that pressing the button results in a snack. However, sometimes she gets frustrated if she doesn't get a treat after just placing her foot on it without pressing. Then she pushes the button away with her foot but brings it back to press it properly. The other one is a very hyperactive guinea pig. She struggles to focus and sometimes only presses when she's prompted that there's a button there. I do this by saying her name, pointing at the button, and saying "button". But then she also thoroughly enjoys pressing and gets excited, spinning around the button or jumping on it with both feet. Both animals have also understood that they need to lift their foot and press again to trigger it again. It's incredibly fun to see them start expressing their wishes. Even though it's only been the wish for food and to be lifted back into their cage so far, I'm extremely happy and look forward to introducing more buttons. The buttons are easy to use and set up, coming with batteries and a very understandable manual.

Clear recordings and battery lasts. It took a few months for my Guinea pig to accept the first button. Once he did, he began using this along with 4 others in the space of a week. Smart piggy, great talk buttons!

These buttons are the perfect size for my cats. They are good quality, easy to use, and function as promised. The sound quality isn't perfect but it easily does the job. I wish they were cheaper as, ultimately, they are simple plastic buttons with a record function. You're paying for the brand rather than the product. But my cats love them, they're learning new words every week so overall I am happy.

Louder speaker much clearer than previous purchased

The video ad makes it appear as though these buttons come with the mat. They do not. Possibly because I'm in the UK, but the only hextile mats I can find come as a set of 2 for £140. Audio quality is also not as clear as indicated. Will probably return these. For people in the UK, if you don't already have the HexTiles, don't bother buying these.
