I wore these banana clips when I was a teenager and loved them because they were the only clips that would hold my super thick hair. Over the last 10 years or so I could not find them anywhere and let me tell you that I would get some strange looks when I would ask if they carried banana clips They would be like banana clips???? Anyway I was so glad to find these in different colors. They are great for thick hair. With that being said, they will not work on thin hair and will slide right out of your hair. Now it will take practice to learn how to snap and lock it in place so don't expect to get it right on the first couple of tries. I find that it helps to dampen the hair first and once you learn how to do it your hair will look so gorgeous because of the way your hair will curve around the sides of the clip. It is so worth it! You used to only be able to get these in brown and black, so I was thrilled to find them in these beautiful colors.

These are very pretty and a good size, however, they keep popping off. The ends do not have a really "deep" piece to hold it securely in place. I might need a bigger clip, as I have very thick hair? I don't know if they sell any bigger sizes. However, I do love using these, they are pretty and keep the hair off of my neck.

I think these are great. I always joke to my kids I’m going to bring the banana clip back. After I got these and put one in my kids were all far banana clips making a comeback. Yes they start to slide after a few hours but so does any barrette or ponytail. They are borderline to small and if you had thick hair it may not fit but I am satisfied and fast shipping.

This is not the banana clip you remember. It pops open easily and doesn't very open wide. Which means you can't gather your hair like you need to for a nice look.

These will not hold my hair, which is not especially thick or bushy.Perhaps i need a lesson, but i cant figure out how to use them.
