It works great on all sorts of bugs from mosquitos, flies, moths, knats & anything that flies. The light is soft, but acts as a night light for me. I even put one in my chicken coop to zap any & all flies. It is even working great there. I hung it from the rafters.

This bug zapper works very good, easy to clean as well. I read some comments that mention this bug zapper stopped working after few months but is just the light bulb that will need replacement and this bug zapper provides bulb replacement for years of enjoyment.
