I divide these tiny capsules by 4 & then by 2 to add to my and my husband's multivitamins. That adds 250 mcg. to our our multi's 150 mcg. for a total of 400 mcg. I am not certain why it has to have 2000mcg., but they are free of salicylates, stearates, colors, soy, and preservatives: no inactive ingredients except microcystalline cellulose.

ive recently had a spate of surgeries and this supplement here is the only reason I'm still here to write this. Inflammation KILLS not just with surgery but in real life as well. Good quality 5-MTHF
I had recently found out I have a MTHFR gene defect. My doctor who discovered this recommended I be on this product. I had gotten this same supplement at his office, so when I saw it was also available on amazon, I was happy as it saves me a trip. Same exact bottle as my doctor. Price compatible.
