Natural Redhead with Virgin Hair Here....
TL;DR Easy to use. Didn't turn my virgin hair orange. Applied on wet natural red virgin hair for 8 minutes. Smell isn't bad. Hair left soft and conditioned. Achieved desired results. Reapply once a week (or as needed). Highly recommend! (update at the bottom) I'm 43 years old and my hair is starting to darken out to an auburn I don't really care much for. People are starting to call my red hair brunette. Makes me sad I'm losing the vibrancy of my red!! After reading the reviews I was scared to try this. Many were way more orange than I wanted. Most are on already bleached/color treated hair. The application times and methods were all over the place. I wanted only subtle change and nothing drastic. I wanted to keep my red hair natural looking, but make the color pop again. I read through SO MANY of these reviews trying to decide if I should and how to execute this flawlessly. Lol APPLICATION METHOD I USED: I decided to stay on the safe side and apply it in the shower on wet hair for 8 minutes. If it wasn't enough I would up the time. I know it washes out but I didn't want to have to take 3 showers to tone it down and waste unnecessary product. I washed my hair with shampoo first to make sure my scalp and roots were clean and free of oils. Then used approximately 6 pumps total and worked it into my hair (like shampoo) again. Then ran a comb through it all from root to ends to ensure even distribution. After my 8 minute timer went off, I Rinsed with cool water and got out. I used a hair dryer to dry my hair. Curled it all then took the photo. ROOTS: I noticed many mentioned their roots not being touched and I'm not sure on those if they were all on people with color treated hair. I felt like I read one natural that felt the roots got neglected. There was no issues with my roots STAINING: I had no issues with staining. Applying in the shower I just worked it into my hair and didn't get it everywhere. Rinsed my hands immediately once I got it in there. SMELL I personally liked the smell. It's not very strong. I'm honestly surprised it even has been mentioned. CONDITIONING It left my hair feeling soft. It was nearly slipping out of my curling iron afterwards. COLOR I am happy with the color it has added. Very subtle, but I can tell. It did not completely cover my greys but I do think one wash with it toned them down. Is exactly what I was looking for. I might wait a couple washes and then leave it on wet hair for 10 minutes. Then update with a photo. MAINTAIN COLOR: I apply this about once a week and apply it more to my roots than the rest of my hair. Then comb out down through my wet hair with a large toothed comb so that it blends in, but doesn't continue to overdue the ends as much. EYEBROWS: I've applied this to my eyebrows so that they match better. Must do so carefully unless you want stains around your brows. ;) REMOVE COLOR: I accidentally discovered that Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo will take most all of the color out in one wash! I wanted to add this for anybody that would like to reverse the process after undesired results. I LOVE that this has and will revived my natural red hair!! Highly recommend to my fellow natural redhead sistas!! UPDATE: It's really hard to get the red to show up in pictures, but I wanted to update how things were going on this product. It is now April 3, 2024. After a few applications I received the shade I used to be. I use this once a week and only for about 5 minutes on wet hair. UPDATE: I have now been using this for over a year as needed to blend in at the roots to keep it looking vibrant and natural. In Sept 2024 I received a complement from a flight attendant telling me to never color my hair. Trust her that she used to be a hairdresser. So pleased she couldn't tell I touch up my natural red hair. Made my day. :) Last picture is today after a year use. Dec 28, 2024.

Cool product!
I hope this review is helpful! I was once a trained hairstylist although it’s been a long time since I have been in the industry as I’ve been raising my family, however, I do have a good understanding of the different color options and how they work. This would definitely be something in the semi-permanent realm. I remember using a similar product as a child but this is way better! So- a little background: I have a natural color at a level 6 (which is a light brunette) and in the summer, certain pieces will naturally lighten to more of a 7 (dark blonde) and I also have just a small amount of very subtle highlighting in through the ends that I had put in at a salon to give my hair a little dimension but for the most part, my hair is virgin (not color treated) and fairly mousey. In the summer it pulls a little golden but in winter my roots seem pretty dull. (I live in northern Minnesota) I do have auburn hints but it needs sunlight to really see it. ANYWAY- I wanted something I could use to just give a little bit of life and interest to my hair but that is not super high maintenance as I do not have the means to visit a salon all the time. I purchased the copper conditioner since I already have red-head vibes with fair skin and freckles. I LOVE IT so far! As a semi-permanent color, it will not turn your hair the exact color of the product (as in, it will not remove any of your current pigment as a lightener or permanent color will) but simply add the pigment to your existing hair. (Think of it like a stain) If you are light blonde, I am guessing it would make your hair VERY orange over time using it but if you have very dark or black hair, it’s unlikely to show at all. For me, my level 6 brown at my roots did not show much difference- just a very very slight orange hue- but my level 7 dark blonde ends from highlights and sun bleaching turned a very natural looking coppery orange. I wanted it to be fairly subtle and it is that! For this first time, I applied to dry hair as recommended and let sit for a bit while I took a soak in my tub- then I rinsed it out and shampooed as normal. I can’t speak yet to how long it lasts but from what I know of similar products, I should likely just be able to use the conditioner as an actual conditioner every few showers to maintain as bright of an effect as I wish or else just wash several times for the color to fade altogether if I want. I just applied my first round but it smells fine and my hair is soft and manageable. I like it a lot! This seems like a great way for someone with my hair type to add a little bit of life and flare without hardly any effort. I can’t wait to curl it tomorrow and see the pretty copper tones working through the ends! Highly recommend for light brunette to dark blondes! - I will mention that I did apply with gloves but I didn’t get much staining on my hairline or shower so I’m not sure if it was really necessary.

This product is small but it works. I bought it because I couldn't find the hair colour I buy in stock anywhere (Splat). I wanted to try the purple karacolour as that is or was rather my hair colour. But that colour was not in stock either. My hair was faded pink as the purple splat turns pink when it fades. So I figured blue and pink make purple. It is not the intense same shade of purple as it was afrer only two 3 minute uses. But is instead more of a pastel indigo, I am happy with it.

Before, 1st bleaching process, after and with bowl method for curly styling only. I've been doing my own hair since covid happened because I realized it was way cheaper and wasn't afraid of screwing it up. This product makes it super easy. I ended up doing a solid round of bleaching, then went in with a cut and the conditioner a few days after it was bleached, leaving It on the bottoms and ends for thirty minutes. I then went back and did the rest of the brown bits and roots at the front and did a quick five minute leave on of the conditioner. Super happy with the results. It's grown out and I continued with the colour, but these are how the curls held up as well with no styling after using the conditioner. I'm actually not used to that. Usually a bleaching will really damage my hair, and it'll take around three weeks with a few protein masks to get my curl back. I've experienced not getting them back for two months after a bleaching before. It only took around a week this time and I do actually think it's because I left the klenditioner on instead of a protein mask. For review, I usually use olaplex aftercare and found it wasn't really needed at all. It legit smells soooooo good. I actually love the smell. I'm going to get the normal conditioner because I actually have a bunch of reactions to colours normally and don't want to over use the copper as a conditioner. I have sensitive skin and will get rashes really easily across my forehead. Its actually why I don't go to hair dresser. I was cooper in the past professionally and everytime I went copper I would get a rash across my forehead. No rash at all from the conditioner and the conditioner actually also worked really well when I styled my hair using the bowl method as well. * I get psoriasis and skin rashes easily so all my shampoos and conditioners need to be anti-fungal with zinc etc. I'm also allergic to fragrance so can't use a lot of curl products so I was really happy when this brought out my curls. It wasn't why I bought it, but I was genuinely surprised. I'll be replacing my olaplex conditioner just because it really didn't work as well for the type of hair I have. I don't know why. But yeah. Was like weirdly surprised at how good this is. I did actually expect a rash and thought I would deal with it, it didn't happen. Would have given four stars but gave it five due to the added bonus of it working for wavy/fine hair with a curl pattern.

My professional hairdresser said “I don’t normally recommend store-bought hair products, but I recommend this one.’’ I use it like conditioner and leave it in my hair 5-15 mins once a week. It leaves my hair shiny and gives the colour a vibrant boost between hair colouring appts.

Me encanta! Deja el cabello suavecito y mantiene el color, por lo tanto, ya no hay que usar tinte tan seguido, siento que es la mejor transición para el cabello canoso ya que no las cubre al 100%, si lo recomiendo!

Used alone this “shampoo” yields a reddish tinge. But when mixed with the vivid blue it gives me varied shades of violets … pretty fun to play with it on my bleached hair. Not so absorbent on natural grey hair though
