Superb Quality
I’m very impressed with this toy set because of the superb quality. All of the items in the set are very strong, study and durable so I know that they will withstand a lot of usage and that they are safe for my nephew to play with. The toys are all very lightweight and comfortable for him to hold which I really like and they are educational for him as well. I like that they come in the bucket as it makes it easy for me to put them away one day on in use. The toys are very good at helping my nephew with his fine motor skills which is important and I like that they are brightly coloured. I think that this set is very giftable and would make a nice present for somebody. We haven’t had any issues or problems with using this set so I do highly recommend it. The value for money is brilliant and it gets a huge thumbs up from me.

Brilliant educational toy
We and our little one love this set - she's learning number currently so this is brilliant to help with that - bonus is various colours and textures too so we can have a good little c hat about all aspects of these cup cakes. She also loves to serve up cake!! Everyones a winner.

Lovely activity from Learning Resources
Have had these tub style activities from Learning Resources before, and they are great. Good size to hold everything in and for little hands to pull out the items. The cupcake pieces are all pretty big so helpful for small hands to hold. The cupcake icing has some give in them, so you can push them onto the bases, and the numbers slide into place. Great for fine motor skills. The cupcakes have little stars on so you can practise counting to 5 and matching the numbers too. Really great activity.

Cupcake lids are soft and squishy. Base are more tough and rigid.
The media could not be loaded. Comes in a clear plastic storage container which also has a handle. Nice and convenient to pick up and store away after use.The lids of each cupcake are not super soft though had a bit of squish ability quality. The base is more tough and rigid. The numbers are blown plastic, hollow and very easy to grasp. They slide into the cupcake tops with ease.I like the subtle stars allocated on each base to give a challenge to match the numbers above. So, a bit of a learning element and the cupcake tops has a sprinkles texture, the base have a cupcake liner type feel. Adds to the sensory element and with different colours. These are very easy to clean. The price is however a bit on the pricey side. These were £23.95 at the time.

My nephew enjoys playing with them even though he doesn't understand counting or numbers yet
My nephew just turned 2 so I got him these. He doesn’t fully understand the activity but he still loves playing with them, putting them in his mouth, and trying to assemble them (incorrectly, but it’s still good for his motor skills and hand strength!). The quality of the pieces is great and the plastic is thick, it also doesn’t have an off-putting, chemical smell that’s associated with certain plastics

Bright & Colourful Number Counting Toy
Great for learning numbers in a fun way, these cupcakes are great for educational role playing, the pieces are of good quality and easy for the child to hold. The handy storage jar is great for rounding up all the pieces after play and keeping them safe for next time. Only downside is that i would have liked to have seen numbers 1-9 in this set as apposed to 1-5 which means you will need an alternative learning aid for numbers 6 and above.

Cute, but expensive
I like that these come with a storage container, and the fact the lid has a handle makes it easier for a small child to move it around. This set only goes from 1-5. Each cake consists of a base (which has a number of stars on it), a cupcake topping, and a candle in the shape of the number. The bases are in two colours, dark for 1, 3 and 5, light for 2 and 4. These are a fairly rigid plastic, and I'm a little concerned as to how well they'd stand up to being stood on by an adult. However they are of a size that this hopefully wouldn't happen. The cake toppers are a softer material - possibly a thick silicone. They are very easy for an adult to put on and off, so I believe a child should find it simple enough. Each one is a different colour. The candles are again one each of five different colours, and the colours are the same as the toppers. So a cake can be assembled with a matching topper and candle, or with different. These are again made from plastic, but because they're hollow shapes (and much smaller than the cake bases) I'm definitiely concerned that these would flatten if stepped on.It's a nice set that can also be used as part of a play kitchen, but I think that at the current price point of £23.95 is too epensive.
