Peace of mind in an emergency
Bought the expansion after wanting more power storage. Now have 2 base stations and 2 expansion packs because it worked so well. Lost power during hurricanes was able to keep the essentials running for a couple days while waiting for power to be restored. Being portable was great for bringing unit to family when they needed power and considering installing sub panel for automatic backup. Recommended buying base station and expansion pack, it's worth extra money and says you buying together

Excellent expansion battery
The amount of juice you get from this expansion better is great and they make it so it fits very snug on top of Inverter or stacked in top of eachother. You just plug it into the inverter and it just works right away. The accompanying Anker app picks it up and that's it. Highly recommend the Anker 3800 with the expansion.

Doubled my stand by power!
The expansion battery came very well packaged and is a high quality product! Set up took 5 minutes and the peace of mind will last much longer. Buying at black friday saved me over $800, I will be doing some serious testing in the coming weeks and report later, but as of right now I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend it to others!
